@zdrewbie Haha thanks man! It more or less takes a lot of practice......one thing you can do is get a nice tripod then start testing out some shots at different angles and such. That's pretty much what I did to get good at this...the more you practice the better you will get.
Excellent video! It's always good to see 475 getting some time in the spotlight, although I do think it has the weakest whistle of the three. I love it when the Pennsylvanian or a Keystone rockets past as the steamer runs around its train.
Hey I thought that was a youtuber who I saw that day. That was me in the grey jacket at 16:15! There were a lot of you, you were part of the group that walked the whole line right lol? BTW, i got you in one of my shots. And @SantaFe158 That's engineer Andy 'Doc' Sellers. He is a good man and a great engineer, also a talented whistler.
@PRR4000 Yup that's correct! Entire line from station to Leaman Place and all the way back! lol. And I definitely agree about Doc, he's my favorite out of everyone.
@modeltrainman12345 Funny, I was there on Wednesday too. We took the 12:00 train and ended up getting seats on the "Presidents Car", the other cars appeared to be packed with people.
@SantaFe158 Yeah it was. I was on the 12:00 train in the third to last car because of the field trips. Although the whistle on the 475 made up for it.
@trainfann1 I use Final Cut, which is made for macs. I can't really say how because it has a more advanced interface than other freeware programs since it's professional.
id love to learn how to film like a professional like you....if only someone would teach me how (hint hint)

@modeltrainman12345 The engineer running 475 really made that whistle sound good.
