I own II, III and IV. Caesar III is the best one in my opinion. If IV had been made a few years later, with a better game engine and better graphics (so that 'cities' could be a decent size, rather than glorified villages), then it would have by far been something special.

Don't have to...Build a pump house near any body of water, build a recevoir close by, connect it to a recevoir in your city if needed, and build a bath house near that one. Use the water overview from the map options to see which areas are servicable by that recevoir, indicated in blue.

That's all there is to it.

3D setting is not that good as you think; gameplay is repetitive; looks like sandbox. Try a demo, first. Score: 6.9/10. Okay but nothing special. Caesar 3 is a game with a soul and I prefer it rather than these new good-looking half-products.

- Can't run a 3 year old game : What if your card is 3 years old?

- Cant even run it with lower settings : It might be even 5 years old?

- Spell dual wrong: Some people aren't english, but they DO try it.

- Spell Star Trek wrong: Same thing. Not everyone is english and grammer can be difficult

- Cant solve the problem : Some people use their computer for fun. And they dont know thingd about video cards and proccessors etc.

I played the game, but when built sheep farms and sheep pastures, but the farmers didn't do anything. I made sure I had enough workers and I built 2 farms per pasture, just like you are supposed to .... I read about this on the internet, someone else had the same problem, but I don't know how to fix this bug. Can anybody help me?

The 3 different basic housing types are confusing and complicated as well. I tried several times to sit down and get into it, but had to shut it down in frustration every time. I loved caesar 3, so this was a real bummer.

i have this game for my son but when we installed it they asked for a serial number n we typed in the code on the top of the box and it didnt work. Is there any other way to continue the installation without a serial number.

I am doubting the cd-key you need is on the actual box, but it will most likely be inside on a piece of paper or in the manual. I don't own this game, but I hope this helps.

Hi Danielle - if you haven't fixed your serial number problem, it is printed on the front of the instructions booklet. If you haven't got a booklet, it must be somewhere else. If not, you could try using my serial number (though I probably have a European number) LEF4-JEB4-FUB8-GYG7-8566 . Good luck.
