Clancy Brown went from being The Kurgan to being Mr.Krabs! Both characters are obsessed with something. The Prize for The Kurgan and Money for Mr. Krabs!

the funny thing is, Clancy Brown (Kurgan) is one of the nicest people going in Hollywood. When the girl who played his daughter in Earth 2 developed a serious heart problem, Brown spearheaded a drive to raise money to treat her--most of his roles aren't big money makers. His co-star died in 2006, I think, but she lived long enough to fall in love & get married...thanks to the Kurgan.

Kurgan was straight up a real villian. Hes the type of character that makes you forget your watching someone act and believe it is actually real and become scared haha. It's saddening that he never got the recognition he deserved for this role.

Clancy Brown was incredible as Kurgan. He was even better doing voice-acting as Lex Luthor in the most recent animated Superman & JL & JLA series. Honestly, I think Brown was the best Luthor ever, even as a voice-over.
