dude, so like i tried to do this using cyberduck, when u tell me to right click and go to directory, i dont see directory, so i just clicked new folder, and then i did everything u said, and my itouch turned out with a black wallpaper and a small question mark icon in the middle. please help

I didn't need a computer. All I needed was this tutorial, iFile (Cydia), and iCab (App Store or Install0us).

To find your saved Gifs from iCab, Browse with iFile to /var/mobile/Applications/5526D­09E-8B98-4CEF-AOFA-A644CCE49BC­A/Documents.

To find your saved Gifs from Photos, Browse with iFile to /var/mobile/Media/PhotoData/10­1APPLE

In iFile: What to do when you find the gif you want to use > Edit (top-right), Check Gif, Goto Clipboard (Bottom-right), Copy/Link, goto YOUR theme folder, paste!

But if you looked carefully at the background u will find that there are black margins on left or right side of the screen... n i found a good solution for that

so here's the new code if you want:

(you need less / greater than sign infront of the body bg... and after height="0"

Can you test it out on 4.1 i think i may have did something wrong, since nothing really happens. and im using iphonebrowser, since SSh, is fucking useless and wont work.

I made a text file, and inputted all of the parameters, then renamed it to wallpaper.html

It shows up in winterboard but doesnt change the background at all... it still has my same old picture...

@CrisisC0re Same old picture? Is this picture from Apple's wallpaper feature, or winterboard? Because if it's on winterboard, you probably should turn off your other themes that might conflict with the .gif theme.

@FlablessGuy I think it would be the same as setting the pages individually i.e Page1.html and then inside SRC the gif, though i wouldnt suggest it as it will use most if not all of your iPod's memory.

It depends on how big the file is. Using one like the first one you see in the video only slows it slightly at first, because it's loading. The longer you leave it open, the faster it gets.

You can save pictures directly on your device by going into the Safari app, then pressing and holding on an image. A few options will pop up and just touch the one that has "save" in it.
