"Sounds like a rix.... eah..." Frampton seems a little prickly to deal with, and the subject of Frampton's 'schooling seems to overwhelm the literal 'ode' now made to Frampton, as if its about the only site of formality left in the wake of his pursuit of structuralist film making.... I note this 'ontological' departure as a mark worth considering to understand his filmmaking.
