  • WHAT THE FUCK O.O IF I SAW THAT ID BE SCARED SHITLESS

  • @Sparklykitten135 there was on in my backyard last year i watched it drop and go back up....best experience of my life

  • It looks so low to the ground that you could probably throw a rock at the wall cloud! LOL

  • Who wants to fucking spinningh cloud?? -_-"

  • LOVE THIS!!!!

  • That front wall cloud looks a lot like the one that produced the Father's Day tornado in Billings last year.

  • thats goint to transform into a tornado

  • Its an ANUS upsidedown

  • Wow, you were in just the right position! Do you have a higher resolution version you could upload? All I get is 240p, and it's really hard to see any rotation. (Maybe just my old eyes...) I'm curious whether the 2 walls were rotating in opposite directions. Could you tell? Your other video is great too, because it shows all the structure - the RFD gap in the clouds, the long horizontal tail, very nice.

  • Holy guacamole!!!

  • where ya GOD now

  • RARE !!

  • omg

  • lol

  • im only ten and even i know this

  • ITS CALLED A SUPER CELL PPL!??!

    GEE WIZ

  • Who doesn't recognize that as an English accent? You had the unique situation where the road ahead wasn't muddy and you could have gotten coser. Oh well, maybe next time! :-D It was kind of hard to see the path but you probably could have gone almost all the way up to it with no problems. If alone, I would have!!! Very nice and clear vid. Thankls for sharing!

  • woo Cheshire represent

  • tornado!

  • i guess its just gng 2 form a tornado

  • Why are we getting SPAM on youtube, strange, I'm here to see interesting video's and I get pop up's that I have to X out to be able to see the video. This is ridiculous.

  • FOREVER YOUNG

  • thats the Apocalypse

  • @khaosnightbane Are you serious? Dude fuck off I absolutely love storms and I have a wonderful social life so stop being prejudice.

  • i swear that guy is english

  • woaw . là il y en a deux en préparation... Peut on déjà savoir si ce sont des Tourneuses ?

  • I thought the same at first that it should be called a tornado if it touched the ground, but wall clouds can have an extremely slow rotation that doesn't let it qualify as a tornado. The definition of a tornado is a violent or rapid rotating column of air from cloud to ground, so that is why it's not defined as a tornado. I didn't learn this until after I filmed that crazy wall cloud I saw in Erick OK.

  • Wall clouds can touch the ground, but it is rare that they do. On my 4th day storm chasing I filmed a crazy wall cloud that came about 200 feet from touching the ground. I never knew they did this until I filmed this storm. I also went to a storm spotter class, and the book they had tells you that wall clouds can touch the ground, but it's rare. So this wall cloud I have filmed was a rare event that happens. It was my 4th day chasing, so I didn't know what was going on when I saw this happening.

  • you guys get tornados in Canada? I always thought it was too far north... I live in Ohio and it rare to get them

  • you can never be to far north for a tornado. It all depends on conditions, not location ;)

  • Ohio has good years and bad years...1965, 1973, 1974, 1992, 2002 and 2006 come to mind as very active years.

  • @Violnplayr23 Last summer we had an EF2 Tornado touch down just north of Toronto.

  • lionsforlyons: I've been to several weather spotter seminars and didn't learn anything I didn't already know, so being a "trained storm spotter" doesn't really carry that much clout.

  • Awesome cloud! Thank you for sharing. 5*

  • this is just monolog! :D:D:D

  • how shit is your life? i feel deeply sorry for you. A trained storm spotter - AKA knobhead

  • holy shit!!! awesome wall clouds!!

    any tornadoes there???

  • aaaw man!! I live in frikkin Belgium! We're happy with the occasional thunderstorm once every 5 years or so! lol. Allthough this year we had two supercells with high rotation in it so we were almost there haha. I'd LOVE to see a twister once! I drive my parent crazy sometimes. I'm like look mom! That cloud looks like there might be a storm comming! Do I see rotation or is it just me?! She's like...what the hell is wrong with you!!? Frikking hoping for a tornado! lol

  • indeed haha. I'm no storm spotter or meteorologist but I'm really into the study behind severe weather. So I read allot about it and go to storm chaser websites. Learned allot from those things! Actualy read up on the whole process of how rainstorms develope. Pretty cool shit. I so wanna be a storm chaser!!

  • was thinking the same thing lol.

  • in florda fl i found a wall cloud that was on the ground but wasnt a F5 tornado because there was 3-5 mph during it and only had small thunder and rain

  • i had the same experience in australia

  • that looked spooky did it touch down?

  • Yes, however some wall clouds do NOT rotate. And even though they rotate or dont rotate you still notice it will be going lower. It will be in 40 minutes or more.

  • those are funnel clouds no? i seee at least 2

  • uh maybe not 2 its a wall cloud every thing is low but u would notice that one particular part will be trying to touch down

  • where i come from we call it a tornado

  • y didnt u record longer?

  • timelapse that shiz!

  • really usa is a very misteryous place...

  • that is awsum

  • its like you can reach up and touch those clouds sometimes they get so low.

  • Your not Micheal Jackson.

  • does anyone know the name of the Buldge of cloud normally on the fore front of a thunderstorm?? as it passes it normally brings strong winds, and heavy rain follows. Anyone know the official name of that cloud band?

    Thanks.

  • i think it s called the anvil

  • Thanks, I found the actual name it is a Shelf Cloud. Makes sense now i supose. A little unadvanced in comparison to a Wall cloud.

    Thanks

  • Comment removed

  • The anvil head is very top of the cloud that often pokes into the base of the stratosphere(we live in the troposphere). It looks like an anvil because high altitude strong winds try to sheer off the top of the cloud(like the top flat part of an anvil) by blowing it wherever the winds are going.

  • The term I believe you are looking for is called a "shelf" cloud.

  • yes.. if you read below.. i found it :) thanks anyway :)

  • It's a wall cloud.

  • i wasn't asking for the name of the cloud in this video! ffs!! + I know now so shh!

  • That's pretty neat, I remember the first time a wall cloud showed up here (central Illinois). It was partially rain-wrapped, but still REALLY ominous and cool to look at as it rolled in slowly.

  • there are a second .

  • a wall cloud is a cloud in a supercell that produces tornadoes in the mid west

  • not just the midwest

  • what is a wall cloud anyway?

  • I remember a few years ago the weather was really bad and my sister phoned me to tell me that there were tornadoes where I live. I watched outside and saw a rotating wall cloud pass directly over my house. I didn't know till later that it was a wall cloud and that they can form tornadoes.

  • are you british?

  • jesus fucking chris sorry for saying that but that huge

  • I didn't think the english had the internet

  • Ummmmmmmmmmm they do why would you think that?

  • It was a joke. You should be able to find some information on the history & use of jokes on wikipedia and various other educational websites.

  • Sorry FUNNY thing IS that u r just covering up so no one would think ur retarded. Why don't u goto some educational sites on how not to be a idiot?

  • Awesome... that thing is KICK ASS!

Nevertheless, it's quite dangerous. Actually. But still facinating :)

    Sara Zwier

  • I live north of Toronto in Ontario, Canada... and I've never seen any tornados. I've seen a couple funnel clouds, but usually u hear of them touching down even further north.. and in places like saskatchewan. but the amount of tornados touching down in canada is NO WHERE even CLOSE to the tornado activity in the southern states... its deadly down there. i feel bad for them.

  • Dam! Why do I always see tornado vids of Canada? I wanted to live there when I retired ;(

  • i didnt see shit
