This show has started out horribly but in this episode we see a snipit of the real joss! I think he's just reeling people in with sex then BAM keeps them in with actual plot and it is about damn time too the first too episodes were barf inducing

the "Dolls" can be programmed with whatever skills and knowledge needed for assignments. they can increase her strength by increasing her muscle mass. she can be prgrammed to do anything. thats why she is kickin ass like a male athlete. if you watch the show you will understand it. listen to Eliza talk about it in interviews, and youll understand it. its an awsome show, give it a chance.
2.) The other 'dolls' suffer from achondroplast 'pretty people' syndrome. Small, young, above-average looking individuals that serve no other purpose than to look pretty. Surely there are other body types required for the various roles that the field operatives are meant to fulfill? Seems so stereotypical and an obvious failing of television. Echo should fall in the 'escort/sex ninja' category, whereas a larger more physically robust man would fall in the 'military type' category.
3.) Any artificially induced increase in muscle mass would require a lot more than the conspicuous application of magic LED lights.
4.) Muscle increase would translate to genuine physiological changes, such as looking bigger. :P For instance, the other 'active' in episode one fired a powerful handgun to perforate a wall -- of which the recoil alone would have sprained her wrist, since there was little or none muscle mass present in her forearms.
the recoil wouldnt sprain her wrists. . . do you know any girls who shoot guns? my cousin is skinny as a rail and she shoots 45's, M14's, 9mm, 40cal, and she isnt as toned as Eliza Dushku. the recoil could sprain if you arent holding the gun right, but just because she isnt the female version of the hulk doesnt mean she cant handle shooting a gun. you dont have to be ripped and muscular to be strong. yoga, pilates, and the training she has to do for the fight sequences make people very strong.

What do you think she is "imprinted" with? That's how they make her a different person for every assignment. Its in her head. Pay attention, and you won't look so ignorant.
Who said anything about kung fu? There are REAL martial arts, you know. And just because on TV doesn't mean it doesn't LOOK real. Thats all that matters.
well it looks good but the promo sucks! does that make sence? anyway fox stinks at making promos so i hope it is better than the promo makes it look. it can either be ok or awsome. either way it looks promising :D

Well, Fox are crap at Promos.
And the story is a step down from being Over Dramatic, they can't keep having Episodes like episode 2 because it will just be Over the top.

I've got to agree. This promo doesn't look promising.
But last week's episode was very good. Often, the promo editors aren't faithful to the spirit of the episode. I hope that's the case here.
