@ultrajd because you see them more often while a u.s. or soviet guy is usually the one holding the camera while germans are getting shot so u never see them. that plus german uniforms were made just to look good they sucked hard in cold weather as compared to the russian uniform that was ugly as sin but kept the soviets nice and toast

I know that the German uniform sat more on the side of fashion instead of utility but I still stand by my opinion that they looked nice. I actually own an authentic red army winter kit and I use it. Like you say it may look ugly as a mule but it works...real well.
