Items 1+2 get you dismissed from any hospital or health facility immediately. Item 3 means you have to pay before your next visit.

1. Let those that oppose healthcare write the SS Administration and op out for your Medicare entitlements. Pass them on to the less fortunate. :>)
2. Encourage your mothers, fathers, and Grandparents to op out for there's and tell them that you'll bear their cost of living (including healthcare).
3. If you're a veteran, write to the VA and op out for your socialized healthcare benefits. Then make it vocal that other Veterans should do the same.

It's short sighted because even if you do help the "needy" as you call them, you will be sacrificing quality for everyone far more, there is never any real wealth created by taxing the wealthy to increase the public sector. I would be for universal health care given a few provisions.
1) No illegal aliens.
2) No illegal drug users.
3) If your problem can be issued to pure stupidity such as "I tried to jump from a 3rd floor balcony to the hotel swimming pool and missed" you have to reimburse the system.
Items 1+2 get you dismissed from any hospital or health facility immediately. Item 3 means you have to pay before your next visit.
If you disagree I will find a drunk illegal to jump off a cliff. You pay to fix.

Healthcare, especially emergency care (since that's what I referred to) isn't exactly like a TV. So if someone's hit by a car, illegal alien, person with no insurance or whoever else, ambulance comes, they check insurance, and if he/she doesn't have one, they leave. Is that your kind of country? This is similar to the supreme courts decision on slavery in 1856. Dred Scott. Both decisions, Dred Scott and Roe v Wade are Democrat majority decisions that claim that neither a black person nor a fetus has any rights. Republicans object to both. perhaps the Harvard study does not show the lifestyle of similar people with and without health insurance. You cannot simply compare race-sex-age-weight etc. there are other factors to be considered.
