    J U S T R E L E A S E D M O V I E S (dot) I N F O

  • ohmygosh jim carrey is too awesome!!

  • You might want to change the description, as he did not interview Jim Carrey at all. THAT interview was blatantly stolen from the Disney Channel's "Movie Surfers"interview with him, you can even hear the boy laugh at the end. They just covered the left side of the screen to cover it. Not to mention the obvious jump of camera quality between the two interviews. Im sure the original interview is somewhere here on youtube.

  • can,t wait also to see A Christmas Carol what a classic .

  • jim carey is such a beast

  • lol

looking biiterly into the camrea I HATE YOU

    ROTFL

  • "I hate you."

    rofl!

  • jim carey, the comedian ever

  • God, I love Jim Carrey. " Look very bitterly at the camera. A very put to together character....I hate you." lol wonderful actor!

  • Who better to use performance capture with than Jim Carrey? That man is KNOWN for the way he acts physically. AGH! AWESOME! Can't wait.

  • The problem with this film is that all the humans look kind of creepy....disgusting, almost. There's something unpleasant about them. They're not human enough to look real and "normal", yet they're not cartoonish enough to look pleasant as animation. They're just these foul looking creatures.

  • If you read the book...this dark depressing wretched look they gave the humans fits really well with Dickens' vision .

  • any ever going to mention Gary Oldman's awesome role in this! he play bob cratiect, and MArley, and tiny tim! I mean COME ON people! I love Jim CArrey, but Gary deserves some soptlight too!

  • I CAN'T wait!!!! This is going to be awesome!!! Zemeckis and Carrey are great and the movie looks creepy and wonderful!! It's going to be a masterpiece!

  • gaaah its gonna be so cool!!! I can't wait.

  • Looks like a cool movie.

  • steve kmetko has aged well

  • High HIGH quality animation.

  • What's with the giant rats at 0:25 ?

  • "i hate you" lol this movie is gonna be great, can't wait to see it :)

  • I remember reading the original book by Charles Dickens about 8 years ago. I forget how many times the story has been made into films. This is the first time in sixteen years that a new version of the film is coming to theaters, and I'm really looking forward to it! I believe the last version of the story that was in theaters was "The Muppet Christmas Carol"

  • Actually it was in 1999 starring Patrick Steward.

  • At first when I saw scrooge with that angry miserbale face I couldnt always see Jim Carrey NOW I SEE IT LOOOOL

  • I saw the official trailer in 3D just before G-Force (I work at the cinema, had to sit in on the film). It looks stunning and I simply can't wait. It'll be the Christmas movie of the decade!

  • you say you HAD to sit in for the film like its a bad thing even if you are just seeing a part of it. Its not like you paid for a ticket free ride

  • Actually I did HAVE to sit in on the film, it's my job to make sure people aren't pissing about in the screens. So excuse me for thinking that the best part of "G-Farce" was the trailers that were on before it. But that's not even the point. If you read the message properly, I was saying how good THIS movie looks.

  • lol sorry man if you got the wrong idea, I went to see G Force too with my bro and like in most movies I really look forward to the trailers and yes for me too this really caught my eye Im a big movie person and I feel this is gonna cash in on christmas :D

  • Awesome can't wait!

    :)

  • this is gonna rock!

  • I CAN'T WAIT :D

  • I wish Gary Oldman was in this featurette ... Nonetheless, 5/5!!

  • This movie will be great.

  • Kmetko looks like he's constipated...

  • If there's one CGI movie I will see...it shall be this one.

  • Jim carrey is an amazing actor.

this movie looks brill, i cant wait to watch it

  • Jim Carry sounds like Mr Burns when he does Scrooge's voice, but thats just me.

  • I think he sounds more like Count Olaf, but gruffer lol!

  • "I hate you!" ROFL!

  • I wish you a merry xmas

  • This version actually looks quite promising. I like how Christmas past looks like a human candle with the flame serving as his head.

  • That's the way she was described in the book, I think; I've only read snippets.

  • Doesn't surprise me more than Bob Zemeckis hiring Jim Carrey to portray not just the main character, but also three others.

Much in the same tradition that Zemeckis did with Tom Hanks in "The Polar Express," where he portrayed at least 5 characters.

  • the guy who is interviewing robert thinks hes the next shatner

  • "i hate you" hahahaha

  • haha i love jim carrey. this film should be brilliant!!

  • fuck man, why does it have to be a CGI movie. Why couldn't they make it live practical movie.

  • Because there are 10,000 live action versions of a Christmas Carol already. This brings something new.

  • yaknow at first I wasn't sure about Jim Carey playing Scrooge, was worried that his easily recognizable face in a live-action performance would take away from his acting. He's an amazing actor and it's great to see how he gets into different roles. This one will be a challenge on his more sublte acting abilities. Anybody can hunch over, run around and yell-bah-humbug. But it's the subtlty that makes scrooge a miserable/suffering mizer, rather than justa crotchety old man.

  • Only Jim can make Scrooage sexy hehe

  • hahahaha love Carrey's/Scrooge's accent...its classic!

  • Careys "accent" is a direct mimic of Alastair Sim's Scrooge - performed in 1951! It's the only Scrooge we watch at Christmas every year - most authentic. I'm afraid ubiquitous Carey will ruin what this movie could have been - sigh.

  • well then if Carrey's accent will stop you from watching this movie...by all means do so..:P. I dont know if you get the big picture here, they have primarily used Carrey for the humor factor. He can make a scary and a funny character all at the same time.

  • Sensitive78: and if you want to continue to be a mindless fool - who willingly hands over your money to watch Hollywood schlock, by all means do. You don't have a clue who Alastrair Sim is, do you? Sorry dummy, lol, ignorance is expensive.

  • lol..yes you're right on that one actually, I have no idea who Alastrair Sim is. But I was merely saying that Jim Carrey is a really good actor. So I gather you wont be watching the film??.

  • I think you are a very educated person unlike MoveOnDotOrgg

They just needed someone to attract the movie too...

  • thanks raven, really appreciate you're kind words..:).

  • raven567890L and you work for what movie studio? just what I thought....

  • What does THAT have to do with anything? RETARD.. What movie studio do YOU work for?

  • It's also almost exactly the same as Carrey's role as Count Olaf in "A Series of Unfortunate Events". :P

  • that probley what made Robert choose Jim Carry for Scrroge.

  • Jim Carey is playing all roles

    Which is very HARD

and then he is still keeping all of their characteristics. And that was just the voice that he was doing just for a joke in the interview..

Just watch a movie and then judge!!

And then with todays technology he can play 7 characters

    He is a wonderful actor...

AND IT IS NOT A MIMIC they are doing it the same way it was written in the book and the play...

  • raven567890: hey dum-dum, is there NO ONE ELSE that can play this part?? And how many movies has Jim Carey done recently: Yes Man! Grinch, Eternal Sunshine, Batman Forever, MASK, Ace Ventura - on and on. The same schlock. And you have NO CLUE who or what Alastair Sim is, DO YOU? Carey is ripping him off - the GREATEST version of Christmas Carol ever done. Got it dum-dum?

  • MoveOnDotOrgg:

Excuse me I know who Alastair Sim is

Nobody is ripping him offf or mimicking him

IF YOU RETARD WILL UNDERSTAND THEIR ARE MANY DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND A CHRISTMAS CAROL!!!! GET OVER OTHER PEOPLES COMMENTS ABOUT 'A Christmas Carol'

    RIP-OFF

    AND WHO STILL SAYS DUM-DUM

  • raven567890: sorry true. You offer no depth, nor detail and now you're writing in all caps and calling me names. Plus, I looked at your user profiel - you're a dum-dum - waste of my time. And you have NO CLUE who Sim is nor have you ever heard of him until I educated you. Don't waste my time dum-dum.

  • ...for someone who's trying to come off as a smartass..dum-dum isn't the best insult.. =/

  • skyling94: who asked you?

  • :)

Why do you write my name first? It's a bit cheesy.

  • skyling94: hey dummy, always preface your comments with the username - so everyone knows who you're replying too. It's called internet etiquette - duh.

  • So instead of just arguing with me, which this should be, you want the world to know as well, correct? Due to the certainty of you winning the argument?

I think it's best simply knowing you're speaking to me.

    :)

As much as it hurst to be called a dummy.

  • YOU ARE SO RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank that Dum-Dum stuff is a bit over played and Pre-Kish...

  • Yeah, im on your side, but keep in mind, we've all prover ourselves immature by choosing to take part in an argument over comments. So lets let it go, it's done with.

    :)

  • lol

  • jim carreys characters in this looks exactly like the count he played in series of unfortunate events

  • yeah haha so true

  • it was a joke DUGHHHH

  • Jim plays 4 frickin characters hes badass

  • Jim's FREAKING AWESOME

  • little Ebenezer looks just like Jim Carrey.

  • "I Hate You!,

    Hahaha!!

  • Jim Carey is a legend.

  • Jim Carrey...I'm mad at him right now for doing the anti-vaccination campaign.

  • I love Charles Dickens stuff, and most of Jim Carry's stuff but come on! WHy does he play practiclly everyone! Those are ganna be some interesting credits, Jim Carry, Jim Carry, Jim Carry, Some other guy, Jim Carry. And Ebebanezer (?) kid version looks sourta crappy.

  • jim carrey is the man

  • is this interviewer for real? I thought it was joke just by his opening line!

  • Wow I never realized Robert Zemeckis was as obsessed with time travel as I am. =)

  • Jim Carrey is brilliant XD

    The movie looks pretty cool!

  • whoa whoa you drunk or something?

  • no,i got too overhyped im a big jim carrey fan =/

  • super!!!!!!!!!

  • Jim would make an interesting Fagin.

  • Search this...

    "PJ Mexico Harmony"

  • what the hell, jim carrey looks younger?!

  • If the ride gets you to the heart of Christmas as he did with the Polar Express this could be a real classic! If not there's always Alistair Sim and George C. Scott to do the trick! Also, I hope that Alan Silvestri is doing the score.

  • Carrey looks very young!

  • Looks very promising!

  • Looks incredible. One of the best actors and directors doing more 3-D IMAX! Another Christmas classic.

  • "What drew you to a...Charles...DICKENS story?" This interviewer is hilarious. I mean, he is. Just watch him.

Couldn't care less about the movie. Mo-cap is creepy.

  • THIS looks brilliant, cant wait to see it!

  • LOL incredible !! Can't wait

  • Oh Yea, this is going to be good.

  • can't wait for this. NO doubt it will best the other best take on this story.

  • Robert Zemekis+Jim Carrey+ Disney+ Christmas Movie+Motion Capture+ 3D Goodness=Blockbuster Gold!

Some of these ingredients are a little worrying if you ask me, but the stills in that were way more exciting than the clip I saw the other day, which looked like a game cutscene

  • It's interesting to hear him mention time travel.

In an interview on the Back to the Future DVD, Zemeckis claimed that his two favorite time travel films were the George Pal Time Machine film, and Dicken's A Christmas Carol.

  • this looks AWESOME.

  • WOW, this looks like it's going to be fantastic. The technology has come a long way. Love the look of the film!!!! Can't wait for more!

  • Go Jim Carrey!! You rock!!

  • Wow...at first I thought...Jim Carrey playing scrooge...I had my doubts and then I saw this...this may actually work!!! I like the idea of Jim playing the ghosts and Bob Zemeckis reason for that...the whole alter ego thing...
