@lozer13 Epica is nothing like Evanescence. Epica is Symphonic metal with elements of Prog, and Death metal. Eva is just a rock band and alternative metal at best if even that. You can not compare the two.

@EnjoyYourLife2000 Eh, more of old Evanescence than new. But even then I don't think they're the same. Epica is symphonic metal while Evanescence doesn't really have much symphonic sound anymore and never had as much as Epica does.

@JUBJUB211 If you like Epica, you'll like Within Temptation for sure. their my favourite band and I think they are amazing. You might also like Lacuna Coil, their a little bit different from Epica, but also very good. A new band i discovered i few time ago is Amaranthe. They kick ass believe me. I could tell you to listen to Nightwish, i might like, but I admit is not one of my favourites bands at all... Hope I can help, if you need anything more just reply :D
