You might also like Lacuna Coil, their a little bit different from Epica, but also very good. A new band i discovered i few time ago is Amaranthe. They kick ass believe me. I could tell you to listen to Nightwish, i might like, but I admit is not one of my favourites bands at all... Hope I can help, if you need anything more just reply :D
