@xxcherrytxx i think the way u get the heart piece is if ur holding the shovel on ur item bar..as soon as i equiped it I FOUND ON THE SAME EXACT SPOT THIS GUY FOUND IT!!!! O_O THANK YOU!!!! :D

You have to average a hole a second e.g 25 holes in 25 seconds, so by the end of time you should have made at least 30+ holes. Watch other YT videos on this heart piece and count to see.

Some comments say you have to do it after certain dungeon which isn’t the case, as I found it after I got the hammer but hadn’t killed the dungeon boss.

Is more easy if you dig near the stones and flowers it has a 22% of chance to appear a heart and if you follow the holes where you find the ruppes sometimes where is the most value ruppes have the hearts

I've been stuck in this minigame for over a year, tried in all patterns i can think of, but haven't got the so called Heart Piece... I guess this really is a matter of luck jeje... can someone tell me if some special requirement is needed here? I'v beaten the Palace of Darkness then I got here... thanks

you do not need the shovel you borrowed for this how do i know? because i am at the part where i got the flute and i am current doing the 5th crystal but do not got 6 or 7 the digging game is HARD . which i just found out i digged 33 times at did not get the heartpiece.

@lavastone881100 yes you can,but you can only dig and get the HEART PIECE when you gave the 80 rupees and still got some of the 30 secounds left.

the flute is in the light world where the kid that plays it is in that little place where the bushes are like a big arrow..by the village

@heats1 it is in the place where you saw the treekid you told you to get it,it is by flowers by a tree there is 4 or more flowers there.

your to go to the old man in light realm when you get the flute hell tell ask you to play for the birds in the village then you go to the weather vain i town a stand on the n and play the flute. a bied will break out of the stone and when you play the flute then that bird can carry you to certian places

in brawl there is very few song remakes i like,2 of them are the dark world theme and "hidden mounten and forest" or the lost woods and death mounten theme in the dark world, and witch 1 of the walkthroughs is the 1st dungeon in the dark world? im stuck at the part after the part where you get the magic hammer, and if it helps i also got almost all the items in the game, i think i might have messed up, do to the key thing,

don't know how it works in ALTTP, whether or not they'll work in all lvl
