Both Twilight and Hunger games are amazing in their own ways. Im anticipating this movie. But Twilight's story reserves a place of its own, the story; to those who connect and understand it, is mesmerizing. And to those who not; boring. Its either a love it or hate it.

The Hunger Games captures a more general audience.

Sorry if you like Twilight, I'm not trying to make your opinion feel inferior, I'm just stating mine. Anyway, the story was well written, I think, and there were some interesting situations, but overall, the characters just seemed unrealistic and, to be honest, lame.

I don't want to spoil anything, so I won't say anything significant. What I will tell you is that the ending still leaves you with many questions. Mockingjay was very disappointing and depressing. Death after Death, and no care at all. Hunger Games was amazing, but MockingJay was the total opposite.

Yes, a lot of lovable character died (I won't mention which ones because I hate spoilers), but it added to the point that Suzanne Collins was trying to make, I think. War is not pretty, and, even if you survive it, you're never the same and you lose a lot of what you had by the time it's all over.

@luchokilleen I agree, it would be interesting to see a book about the original rebellion and the situations leading up to it. I also would like to see a novella about the red-headed Avox girl. Her character always stood out to me. I always wondered what made her and the boy run from the capitol and what she felt/went through while being an Avox and what she felt about seeing Katniss. It's not really enough to constitute another book, but a novella would be nice.

I hated this book only because STEPHANIE MEYER SAID SHE WAS ADDICTED TO IT. I read it and I think I was punched in the face by Katniss for underestimating this book.
