  • One of my fave Santana tunes and you did it proud man! I ahve the Ycv-20 and have been considering upgrading to either the 40 or 50.

  • @gpower Hello friend, I recommend the ycv50 because it uses EL34 tubes. I replace all the valves that come from a brand manufactured by Mullard. So it sounds much better (almost no one says but with the change of the range of EQ 12AX7 opens a lot)

Greetings and thanks for your message ... Sorry for my English

  • Thank you for your kindness and humility. I think this is a good amp from the first day you use it, as time passes you learn how to saturate to make it sound even better.

Sorry for my english, i use google traductor LOL ;-)

  • Nice playing man, very musical. You did a better job of making this amp sound good than I could. Love your patience and overall styling...rock on!!!

  • just watching the images was fun! Awesome playing!!!

  • @MrGuitarMods Oh thanks for your words, I'm glad you liked it.

    Greetings!

  • @davidriggs1955 Oh, thanks. Carlos Santana and LLB are very good players. I'm just a novice guitar because I'm a singer. Be compared with real players is an honor. I enjoy your nice comments. Thanks for visiting my videos ;-)

  • @PoseidonGuitar If you can sing better than you can play you must have an epic voice. Excellent feel and timing. Novice guitar player you are NOT!

  • @davidriggs1955 You know the reason it reminds you of Los Lonely Boys? Because LLB copped a lot of their stuff from Carlos Santana. This is a Santana song! Really, it should kind of remind you of Santana!

  • @davidriggs1955 Thanks for your words, nice comment. ;-) i like the Lonely Boys...

  • @EricDuchesnes Thank you for your words Eric, I'm glad you liked the feeling with which I played the guitar. I still have much to be good xD

Do not worry about English, I speak very little. My language is Spanish, usually use a translator to respond to you and understand your answers.

The important thing is that we have been able to speak and understand,

I hope to hear a song played by you ...

    Merry Christmas

  • @PoseidonGuitar hi and happy new year!!!

I've my new amp the YCV50 traynor great amp but i changed the tube preamp too much bass for me and for the best EQ all the three sovtek original stocked in the amp for three JJECC83 that more creamy in the middle sound and less bass!

    bye!!!

  • Sounds nice. I have this amp as well.

Can you tell me what EQ settings you used on the amp to get this tone? It's really nice.

  • @JonnyMangia Sorry, can not remember exactly. You can deal with this: treble 4, 6 middle, and bass 4. It depends on your guitar and cables (I use monster rock), if still a sharp cut you can deal with the tone of the guitar.

PD: You can try with the neck and bridge pickups and the same configuration...

    Sorry for my english...

    Welcome to my channel!

  • @PoseidonGuitar

You did this through the "Gain" channel, correct?

  • @JonnyMangia Yes, lead channel + boost, adjust the gain very softly...

  • hey, i have this amp as well, what did you use to record it?

  • @freakstupid11 Hello friend, thans for visit my channel! I use: Adobe audition + Audio interface + mic shure sm57 + Traynor Ycv50 + Fender (Dimarzio Pickups)

That is what I use for recording. I hope my answer will be useful.

  • @PoseidonGuitar So no effects were used. just the amps settings? sounds really nice.

  • @chinesecantdrive Thanks for your words encourage me to continue working!

I love my amp and I've seen bad reviews of new users with little experience, this is not fair, so I decided to make this video and show their high quality. I would one day be endorser by this great brand since it is my favorite!
