  • The SEGA Genesis version sounded more like Michael Jackson's "Jam". For obvious reasons..... 😊

  • @gjtrue i think sega did hired MJ to do some of the lerics in some of the S3&K soundtracks

  • @killkenny5000 Well isn't that what he/she kind of said. Also there wasn't any lyrics in the Mega Drive version, it could only do things like sound samples, on top of that MJ was only involved with Sonic 3, his sound team was only credited in S3&K because of the tracks from Sonic 3 used in S3&K. Also it has been proven that Michael worked on Sonic 3.

  • @Jami393 oh yeah i forgot theirs only like 3 parts in the sega genesis soundchip

but still at least the genesis version sounds much better than this

  • @killkenny5000 At least your right in saying the Mega Drive version does sound a lot better than this.

  • Yuck.

  • Thanks for posting, I was curious about what this version sounded like. nb4 MJ

  • @crazybay46913 Can I ask what does nb4 means please.

  • @Jami393 oh it's short for "in before" I was saying that like in most other videos like this poorly informed individuals who have heard that there are similarities between sonic 3 and MJ's music will mistakenly claim that this is related to some random MJ song. Of course some are related but the reason these were changed for the PC is because of the copyright issues that would have possibly become problematic.

  • @crazybay46913 Are you saying some songs of MJ's are related to the PC version of Sonic 3.

  • @Jami393 No, I was saying the original (sega genesis) version of carnival night zone was composed by MJ but people on here get confused and say that the PC one is instead.

  • @crazybay46913 Yeah I know what you mean, I've had someone saying on my Ice Cap act 1 PC version video saying, this was was composed by MJ the Mega Drive/Genesis is the replaced track.

  • @Jami393 lol!

  • @Jami393 i read that it was because not all PCs at the time could handle some of the processing of the music. the songs replaced had sounds in the background that required that several sound files play at once. like the "go go go" in the original launch base.

  • @RockmanXero Yeah but the Go sample or as you put it Go Go Go, features in the MJ song Tabloid Junkie.
