Oh my gosh-I bow to you, paper flower embossing queen!! Thanks also for the tip on the hot gun; my first attempt at embossing just blew the powder everywhere and I haven't tried since!! Gonna go try again. :)
i have embossed my flowers before but i used glossy accents the clear embossing looks great. i shape my flowers than do the glossy accents so they are more 3d.

@cjvelsil the white powder is called "embossing powder." this is stuff that is MADE to melt when heated. you will find it in the same section as the heat tools and probably next to the inks.

@westernkate yeah, if the heat tool is way hot and is in one spot for too long, you will heat/burn anything it's on. I'm so sorry this happened.
