@chiangee13 Can I suggest you listen to the tempo of most of the major recordings of this concerto and tell me how this differs from those? I think it may sound a little slower because there's a little more air in the way they're playing it as opposed to some other recordings that are a little fuller with the style of sound.

If you're talking about Yo-yo Ma, I would say that's an overstatement. Ma is an amazing cellist, but I wouldn't say the best...possibly Rostropovich or du Pre? Just my opinion...

I stand by what I said lol. Rostropovich definitely has the scales / trills, but I still think as far as over-all style is concerned this performance wins. Rostropovich in my opinion is slightly too heavy in his bowing.

Bravossimo! The sound you produced on the cello is really... impressive. I believe you have a really good cello, and your bowing is such mastery. I love what I hear. To me, this is a really rare treasure on youtube. The organ emulating the accompanying orchestra convinced me, absolutely.
