I think it's the game publishers not the devs that are to blame for all this DRM crap.

Surely the point of DRM is to stop piracy and get more sales? but it's having quite the opposite effect. 1. Some people wont buy games with DRM

2. People will find ways to bypass the DRM anyway so why bother?

For the love of god just give up on DRM already!
