Looking awesome! Glad to see you're still 'doing it' haha... Did you find Rena, a BC, easier to train than your Lab or essentially the same? Good luck with college! Will you be majoring in psych (as a platform for animal psych/ethology graduate study)?
@SimTripps Honestly they both challenging in their own special way. Rena was stubborn and Sam was a little dopey and A.D.D. ;) Haha! I am so grateful I got the opportunity to train a border collie before leaving. It sure was an experience. I am honestly majoring in Marine Biology. I love the ocean and marine mammals. i have to work with animals. luckily there's a dog training facility only 20 minutes away from the college and I'll be having my car the second semester.
She looks awesome :D, are courses at AKC trials usually that close together? Or was it just to help with collection, she really does collect nicely :D!
@SnowBall5291 It's really because of the spacing. Towards the fence the terrain is pretty bumpy and unever so I like to stay on that area where all the jumps are. lol And the tight area sure helps with collection. But that's the thing she likes being near and we need to practice some more distance this upcoming week. I should get video of that. I just need someone to take along with me and tape. ;) I can't thank you enough for commenting!
