Nope, I got that light kit after the fan. I had seen it sitting on a shelf at Habitat down there, and then we went to the place that had this fan, and never went back for the light. Upon digging in some boxes some months later on my next trip, I found the light kit again and decided I had to get it since it matches the finish.
Sorry, I really wanted the wall control and the canopy with the sticker on it. It's my best white one yet though, and I really, really like it. One of my other white's is pretty much done for since it only runs on reverse, and the other is in horrible condition... Spins faster than my others as well, WAY faster.
They made brown, I'm not aware of black. If you've seen one it was probably painted, or there are some fans that look rather similar to these Moss fans that are/were offered in black.
I bought a 48" white Moss Caribbean Breeze two days ago.

Thanks. cuz it looks nice with that light kit on it. It just saw a video of it now. I thought the light kit came with it.
