@CognizantCheddar I believe we're supposed to understand, given later events in the film (SPOILER ALERT) that Il Duce recognized the twins and thus was deliberately missing them during the firefight. He WAS trying to get Rocco, but the twins unknowingly protected him by standing so close to him (at one point they are literally shooting over his shoulder).

I spent the entire movie just laughing at just how stupid every single scene in this movie was. And then, despite glorifying violence the whole way through, it tries to have an anti-violence message at the end??? Despicable characters, awful acting and story, offscreen action scenes... Just trash. Easily one of the worst films ever made.
