Pallet towns a travesty, pokedex are free but are these really a necessity. You can catch pokemon on the outerskirts of town, but I don't know why you would when you can fish anywhere else. If you're in a hurry, to be legendary, it's uneccessary, to want to even vist pallet town, it's got no venders or pokemon centers all it has is oaks lab and two house! Best song Ever! Except Wild Canyon Theme
Why doesn't Blaine just set up his gym in the pokemon center instead of some deserted island? If they can do it in Platinum, they should be able to do it in GSC.
well the generation III legendaries, i.e. the obtainable ones that you don't have to hack for are based on the jewish myths of the beasts of the sea, land, and sky (kyogre, groudon, and rayquaza respectively) so maybe the introduction of a hindu god trio or duo isn't such a bad idea
sinnabar island being rebuilt to only get destroyed again is kind redundant like new orleans being rebuilt with everyone knowing there will most likely be another great storm or hurricane to wash them away again in the near future of maybe 10 years or so. why would you even try to build a city in marsh land that is below sea level? they knew it was below sea level back when the town was first built in the 1600's or when ever it was first built! for crying out loud how stupid can you get?
The Hindu Gods you were referencing would be the Hindu Triad; Shiva, the destroyer, Vishnu, the preserver, and Brahma, the creator. They might actually make a good basis for the main legends in the next generation, what with them having the two polar box legends, and the tieing one that is at lvl 70 after the end game. The Brahma one might be interesting to see, as it would probably have to be some 5 headed hydra or other shenanigans.
when you thought of seasons i thought that it would be cool if a game had seasons and through the game you go through the seasons and later the season cycle gets messed up and you have to fight/catch the legendaries to fix the seasons
Heh. That snow storm is headed down south to Ontario. I've heard all sorts of reports about it, but really, with all the salt they put on the roads, it sholdn't be an issue.
Apparently, Hindu gods are just revived versions of one god. Shiva is both the god of destruction and creation. Would Shaymin count as the pokemon of spring, or is it just the plain flower legendary?
And speaking of the lab, if you hack G/S/C, there is actually a warp point that goes to the lab, among other stupid things.
The first one... I only played the second. Then again, there doesn't seem to be much snow in Wintown, judging by the Pokéearth's screenshot, so maybe it's just the town names that follow a pattern.
good prediction on gen V, "Sawsbuck"

I actually LOVED the deep snow in Generation IV... It actually helped the mood of a hard long trek to an isolated town in the mountain.

Remember Pompeii? Yeah, there's a city all around that still active volcano.

Yeah, that's the city that was covered in molten lava, right?

Shaymin is the Gratitude Pokémon, it doesn't have much to do with spring, other than the whole flower thing.

Who cares about starting trainers there? You're the main character, that's all that matters.

I liked your ideas for generation V.
but looking at the maps on serebii, it looks like they already did something like the season theme for one of the pokemon ranger games.
