Fact error: Katherine Harris was the granddaughter, not daughter, of a citrus and cattle millionaire, who was Ben Hill Griffin, Jr. Her father, the late George W. Harris, married one of Griffin's daughters, Harriet Griffin Harris. George Harris was actually president and CEO of a private, independent bank called Citrus and Chemical Bank, which was actually started by Griffin and later taken over by Harris himself.
