  • Nice Clip

  • Can you say useless. Why in various episodes is he so damn worried about getting an "original" 34 grill or stereo, then completly knee caps that with a 350. Make up my mind. And why does it take 6 guys to put 4 bolts in and bolt the block to the frame? And use a tourch to do the exaust? Ya, that'll be a nice clean cut. This show annoys me

  • I always wondered why the engine always was changing? and even the toolman wouldnt paint the hog head yellow, with a blue frame. Can any hotrodder say YUCK!!!

  • GREAT CLIP !!!!!!!! TERA1320

  • hey if you look at 0;22 the block is blue then the next shot the block is yellow

  • AAH THE OLD TIMES, (SNIF).

    FIVE STARS.

  • I totally wanna build one of those when I know all about tools.

  • That rod's a dream come true...very nicely done...

  • I like both Hot Rods that he built on the show, but this one is THE hot rod. Everytime I see this episode, it amazes me to see that cover come off and reveal the beautiful, bright blue, 1933 Ford Roadster. This car inspires me to actually build one of my own.

  • I mean seriously I want to rebuild both of the hot rods he did on the show!

  • I find it funny that he breaks everything he touches (on his Tool Time show) and ends up blowing up anything he tries to upgrade, but he has to trouble bulding a hot rod :D

  • THE HOT ROD.

  • What video is tim driving the hot rod?

  • cool vid thanks

  • Tim's blue hot rod did have one disadvantage,... it had no roof! Something that was easily demonstrated as a bad quality in the episode, "Some like it Hot Rod" where Jill leaves it outside when it's snowing out.

  • It took him 3 years to build that hot rod. It was a 1933 Ford Roadster. He sold it to Papa Mia, the wealthy owner of a Pizza business who had a huge collection of classic cars. Tim saw an old beat up 1946, Ford Convertable in the collection and thought it would be fun to rebuild it, so Papa Mia, showing his gratitude for Tim's Hot Rod, gave him the covertable and Tim rebuilt that. Although the covertable wasn't fully rebuilt until almost the end of the series. So that one took more than 3 years.

  • Tim is great. He really likes neat cars. Leno is the same way. They will actually drive their cars, since they know cars are made to be driven.

  • Leno as the mechanic is funny, but that is actually Jay's garage and his collection

  • i watch this show every day on tbs from 12 to 2 and on nick at nite 9 to 10

  • me too!

  • Yea, doesn't it make you want to work on cars all day!

I watch it too, George Lopez Too!

  • No kidding man, it just makes me want to turn a wrench.

  • Way to go TIM!!!! RRRRRRRRRRRRR

  • RRR- Valve covers are GREAT!!!

  • i love home improvement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Oh, I remember this from "The Great Race II", oh, how much fun the family had building the first hot rod.

  • that forty six was smokin' with the paint job and the leather interior....good lord what a beauty!

  • Damn good car

  • WTF you asshole.

  • lmao he smacked that bitch right in the face wit that patato n jus laughed at her lol

  • THIS IS JUST TO FUNNY :]

  • u no wat fuckk u that home improovment thing is awsom

  • If you're looking for more Home Improvement, watch my video called "Home Improvement-Tim and Jill Watch Mark's Horror Film"

  • RRR on the last set of valve covers is also the name of the Saleen/allen speedlab. Saleen mustangs!

  • WTF are you talking about??? Why wouldnt he go though all the trouble to start a classic car like this. Especially when you build it your self.

  • i'd love to get the full spec, from what i remember is was a Ford (1930?) with a 350 chevy small block, bored out to 385 with a 400 crank, holley double pumpers, rolling rear pan. thats all i've got though.

any more details i'd love, im a giant fan of that Rod.

  • Yet you know nothing about it. For one, it's a '34 Ford. "fan."

  • A 350 with a 400 crank is a 383...

  • my favorite car, my favorite tv-show!!! yes!!!

  • haha, that idiot dents his grill

  • it's cool, that grill was a fake, the guy went and found him an original to pay him back.

  • what a feat!, i loved that show back in the day

  • I WANT ONE

  • i like this car better than the 46 they restored.

  • I was so sad when they sold the hotrod...

  • yeah but it was pretty funny when they had Jay Leno as the creepy mechanic.

  • What was Bob Villa's Car? Any clips of that?

  • very well done

  • awesome job. loved the show and never realy remembered all the hot rod parts. awesome !!

  • yes very tru
