good thing i just bought the 9950 BE at 2.6ghz

i got it with some 1066 4gb OCZ reaper DDR2 RAM and my ATI Radeon HD4850 and i'll be playing this HIGHEST settings soon haha :D

I still play this game with my old 939, X2 3800. I don't understand how I hold up, but I do. Anyone with a kick ass quad core and so forth, who can't run this game, I feel sorry for you. With only 3gigs of 400 ram, a 2.0 3800X2, and SLI running at 8x only, I can still enjoy this game. And my computer is over 4 years old. Glad I got my AMD, and not some POS intel. AMD or nothing bitches!

I play warhead at max settings with this porcessor at 1400X1050, but my CPU usage is only at 34% :( anyone know how to make the engine utilize more than one core?

If your using an nvidia, go to the nvidia control panel and enable threaded optimization. If that doesn't work than sorry mate I can't help you.

1.- In what resolution and DirectX mode are you playing?

2.- How many FPS do you get with max settings?

And what resolution? I would get a GTX 260 Core 216 Black Edtion to run it at 1680x1050, but, will it run?

My monitor hinders me it maxes at 1680x1050. From what I have seen on benchmarks these video cards perform better on higher resolutions.

actually the phenom 9950 is 20% faster when both are at stock settings, if u oc the phenom 9950 with the sb750 chipset to get 3.5ghz and oc the q6600 to its max which is about 3.6-3.8 the phenom would still rape it with its 4 penises i mean cores XD

You should take a look at the setup that people are using when they benchmark. When researching the specs of this pc I found most all benchmarks are done on XP. They are not running DX10. They usually run with the worst video settings. You have to look past the hype. Thats why I posted this video with max video settings to show it will run very smooth even while frapsing.

Nice one! It Just goes to show those Intel Fans that a Phenom can run Crysis/Warhead at the highest settings very well! I'm gonna build my first highend PC next week! Ii will have a 9950BE, DFI 790FX-M2R, Saphire HD4870x2, and lol I think I will have the same OCZ 1066 ram as u! :D
