"Disneyland will never be complete as long as there is imagination left in the world" I dont know, but whenever corporate talks about Disneyland in this fashion, it just seems to me like it's being used as an excuse. Yeah, Walt said it, but so many poor decisions have been made with DCA, it's hard to imagine that when Walt talked about his little park, this is what he meant. I'm pretty if Walt had a say, DCA would have never opened in it's original form.

Should it have been a good Disney park on day one? Absolutely.

But better late than never. The management is different now.

Well, as many people many have heard by now, the park has received a slight name change. It is now officially known as "Disney California Adventure" (Instead of the possessive "Disney's")

I love california adventure!!! However I am excited for a new theme, i'm a little bummed about them taking out some key rides..........I'm excited though

Thats news to me... Every time I walked by it in its life time the top wait was 1 minutes wheree as Tower of teror: 1hour 30min California screamin: 1hr

Soarin over california : 1hr 45 min must I go on. It was one of the least popular attractions in the park.

I'm so glad they are doing this. I didn't like California adventure before because it was everything Walt Disney was trying to get away from. Carnival Rides. But their new ideas sound great!

it look like a bug land will stay remind did you go disneyland resort i havent been since summer 2001 what is most crowd is everyday or weekend? p.s. did you close to disneyland?

weekdays are usually less crowded than weekends by far. I live about an hour away from the resort.

Also they have things called bounce back weekends. If a holiday falls on a weekedend the First weekday will most likely be filled to capacity (they stop letting people in the park)

there will still be a few acres left of the parking lot behind tower of terror. As for new hotels and a 3rd park...its still to far away to know.

The only hotels that will be added will not be in California, now that Disney's trying to introduce a time share system. They're trying to build a hotel in Hawaii on the island of Oahu...but the Imagineers have to have more information about Hawaii's rich culture before bringing Disney into the mix. Later on they will create more hotels around the world

no muppet vision WILL NOT REPLACE it said hollywood picture balck will have new home for a slate for special ticketed event and chances to hear first hand from innovative direcrtors writers and animators an update of the popular family show playhouse disney will provide an experince for younger children sorry no repalce for muppet vision will be remain there is no replace at hollywood picture blackout that was rumor it went false

It wasn't announced by Disney....yet. But MuppetVision will be replaced. Expect the announcement to come later next year.

Currently, the plans for Muppet Vision to be replaced have been scrapped...For now, anyway.

Yes, It was going to be replaced with Philarmagic, but that idea got shelved.

So, it looks like Muppet Vision will be sticking around for now.

Cars Land is going to built into the remaining parking lot behind Tower of Terror and it will connect the Hollywood area of the park to Paradise Pier. Philharmagic will replace Muppet Vision and as of now there will be a NEW parade route but it is unclear where the path will be.
