What a cool coffin! I wouldn't depth of it because what about the padding I personally red velvet and maybe but the velvet buttons in a diamond pattern all over the inside

I love it, yes get a lid for it. I made one for 2006 halloween, and it looks like crap and it's not deep enough, sad cuz i also wanted to use it as a seccond bed. I run a haunted house, From my view your coffin is REALLY good. I wish it was mine lol. I gave up on making one, i'm just going to save my money to buy a real one. and don't worry about your friends that are freaked out about it, unless they give you the nic name "coffin Vampire" like they gave me lol.
I was thinking about putting in a flat monitor and a dvd player too, maybe with an A/B switch and a laptop
with a wearable keyboard/mouse and a WIFI router hookup, it might be even better if I made the next casket large enough for two people, then I could even
looks awesome...but...the only thing I recommend(too late now! hahaha)is they need to be more shallow so people can see in better(depends how you plan to use it) but ya...you did a darn good job!

Thank's I bought many of my materials from home depot so it got expensive quickly.
I have lavender pleated satin inserts for the interior that really look good also.

i like the deep look plus plenty of space inside to use your laptop or read a book rather then havin it flat on your face :)

Yes I agree, it seemes a bit deep to me too,
when i make the lid if it looks too deep i can just
cut it down i guess,
I think Im going to put a view port in the lid like maybe 6" x 12" smoked glass and a pale green light near the bottom to cast a shadow from below.
