Thank you to the person who just called me with further information about the Highers Brothers. The man who was killed was known back in the day, and in that neighborhood as "ole man Bob".

Please pass along information on this case to anyone you know who may have knowledge of this shooting. There is no doubt that the Highers Brothers are innocent of the crimes for which they were convicted in 1987.

Continue to talk about the case and help free these men from prison.

I stopped and spoke to the owner of the house, a very nice gentleman over a year ago. I told him what I was doing and he did not object adding that the murder occurred before he purchased the home.

Regardless, the incident is public record and the photographs and video were taken from the street.

Possibly you could ask around if anyone knows about the murder. We have had many tips and hope that the Highers Brothers will soon be freed.

I grew up and was friends with Tommy and Raymond. I think everone who knows them, knows they were wrongly convicted. They were in the wrong place at the wrong time. They were both just kids and there is no way they are the ones who did this crime. Gay Bob was a drug dealer and it could have been anyone who killed him. The Highers were a convenient scape-goat. The police took the easy road and put 2 innocent boys in prison. Shame on them.

If they are found guilty, they are found guilty. Unfortanetly, they will have a much lesser chance of being found innocent.
