me crie en Haina, y me duele mucho ver k nadie hace nada por el pueblo con quejarnos y no actuar seguira lo mismo. Gracias a las personas k hicieron este documental.
Ooh wow Yo Im from Haina,Gringo But now Im living in new york and yes I have asthma & used to be in Hospital like every 2 Days & since I've been here in new york I've never been Hospitalized man.
Pero its gonna be really hard to work on that cuz most of the industries in Haina are really important to the Dominican Republic in general.
Te amo Haina a pesar de todo ese es mi pueblo k me vio nacer & crecer.
pollution continues... like a deadly vicious circle, and no authority, none, has done a thing... i still live here... i see it every day... it's not just an "interesting documentary"... for us it's our daily reality. Shame that only some municipans take character to fight back... pity we are not strong enough to fight the system.
all i have to say is that im glad the rest of the worls finally realized that my home town city is in grave danger of losing its population to the foul contamination and toxic waste surrounding the area..i lived there with my grand mother for a year and 3 months and in my time there the stench of the air was unexeptable..my name is martin fermin aka martinsito and i thank the people that are doing this because i finally can give thankx and say that the world isint so messed up now....

A poignant reminder of the need to act on behalf of those who are less fortunate... and support worthy causes.
