  • Did you ever measure the power going in from the battery and the power coming out from the coils?

    Dan

  • hey there @maarvins199 , if you put a rubber band around the side of the spinning disk and pieces of a winter hat on the tips of the coils you would have static electricity added to the power output, check out how much power a small van de graaf generator can put out. just a thought

  • should hook up some kind of RPM counter; that thing sounds sick spooling up! lol

  • RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!! ITS GONNA BLOW!!!!

  • talk about scary as hell D:

  • this is so cool i bet you can generate free energy with this instead of solar panel

  • this is great, I am just starting a bedini motor, just ordered all the parts, Im wondering how you get the hard drive rotor secured enough to handle such high speeds (im hoping to achieve the same!)

  • nice motor

  • Nice motor!!

    You makes me jealous...

  • sorry i used the wrong word!! haha i ment paralell - if i spet it right. you may find a better charge with a reed as it cant blow-up like a transistor... well all mine so far. i liked using reed switches at the start, but when i got into the more powerful things i found they locked and burn alot. get some american ones - they are HUDGE compared to ones here in the UK - if not RS componants they are ok

  • could you tell me how you have that setup?, alls i see is wires and a few transistors sticking out the back of the coils. a paralell circuit? perhaps. slick design, can you show the stupidly fast ones please- i always enjoy them

  • well, actually I do not have any schematics for it. Each coil is independent, and there is only one trigger coil for all of them, trigger gives pulse to transistor, and transistor magnetises the coil, thats it!

  • so they are all set in series, except the trigger - that is running to all of them?. I had a set up like that but found that if one transister is turned off it stoped the other. i also used the B-EMF to run the other transistors =D. thanks for clearing that up

  • Nope, each of the coils are independent, it will run with one coil as well, just will take much longer time to spin up to that speed! In my case running it with only one coil gives me better COP, about 0.9, with all of the coils 0.8. Currently I am running it with reed instead of trigger coil, it gives me shorter and better pulses, but have not tried charging a battery yet. I will remake all of the coils and will post another video soon. I think I have too much of the whire on them.

  • wow very nice. How long will it run off that one battery? It is just running off the one battery and it's charging it at the same time right?

    Very high voltage......

  • well, it depends on the battery you are using :) I'm running it on the 12v wall adapter. Takes 800ma at 12v

  • i know! make an air raid siren with that XP

  • what do you mean with that?

  • cause it sound so loud :P
