I'd really love to purchase an 8-string Mayones, but I feel my hands are a lot smaller than the regular guitarist. Would you encourage me to give it a shot or would it only increase the risk of injury?

@MarinVillalpando15 I have small hands too, and I don't think the change from 6 to seven or 7 to 8 string was that dramatic. Just make sure you stretch your hands before/after playing, you should be alright. Raise your strap so you can reach the bottom strings better, jazz style

@LanceSaunders Hmm alrighty, it's how I've always played my guitar anyways, it's such a pain seeing people trying to shred with their straps low haha. Only good for chord playing like Green Day, Rise Against, etc. But yea, jazz style playing is probably the most comfortable form of guitar playing ever. Thanks for the tips kind sir.

Well no but i just felt for what he was playing here he could of easyly used a 7 for it, just my opinion.

I don't mind 8 string guitars but they are a specialist guitar and it just seems a bit pointless to get one if you only use a few of the strings.

That being said, i know this guy can shred the hell out of and 8 string so my comment's not really ment for him.

But i'm sure you know what i mean.
