I'm a little cloudy what exactly your asking. I remember Kevin Cronin and Tommie Shaw coming out and doing a song that they were working on...could it be welcome to Styx World. Love them bands and was great show. Seen both alot over the years. I really liked when Shaw told the story before Crystal Ball of how he hooked up with the band. I did several videos that night and could go through some of them.

I see Petty is coming to Quest again..we saw them there two years ago..great rockin show.

Also I think that Donnie's singing voice sounds more like Ronnie's than Johnnie's does. But at the same time, who else is better able to fill those big shoes than a brother?

To me it was cool seeing Donnie Van Zant with 38 Special in concert. I wonder if his brother Ronnie was as hyper on stage as Donnie is? I never got a chance to see Ronnie live, as I was only 8 years old in 1977.

I did see him back in'77 at Anaheim. Great concert. It was Ted Nugent, REO,Foreigner,TRex. Was a couple of months later when the crash happpened. I don't remember him being as active as Donnie. Course that was when Ted had just had his first album out and was really pissed because Skynard didn't come out for their oncore for about 20 minutes...not sure what they were doing back there.the croud was really upset. But in the end can just say that saw them.

Donnie Van Zant didn't come back out for this song the night before in St. Louis. I wonder why?

That's weird. Maybe something was bothering him, course you can't tell from his actions...always carrying on.
