The only thing is that it's a little bit weird seeing the on stage performance but hearing the soundboard recording. I'm just so used to hearing audio that has all that little "live experience" stuff going on when there's a staged performance involved.

@Futuredudeman I did the lighting for this concert and was in the AV booth, and we use recording mikes to get the clearest sound. This way the groups can actually be heard in recordings without fluctuating levels or audience interference.

@povabny This is clearly a matter of opinion, but I typically LIKE the fluctuating levels and audience interference when it's in video form. Not if it's so noticeable that it genuinely gets in the way of what's happening on stage, but I think it gives much more of a feel for actually being there, in that place, as the group is performing.

That being said, the audio quality is superb, and I quickly adjusted. I don't want it to seem like it's detracting, because it isn't.

@Futuredudeman The particular venue generally doesn't turn out great sound quality on a camcorder, at least with other videos of Vocalign. The videos taken by people in the audience usually don't sound this good. Personally, I like it better this way, but like you said, it's definitely a matter of opinion. =)

Yes! What LittleMissSoap wrote! You'd benefit so much from training, Lauren. Your voice has such potential. It's like good, but training would make it great, I know it. I thought vocal training was pointless until I saw first hand how those exercises that seem kind of silly actually work and perfect and concentrate good voices.
