WASHINGTON, March 22, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Federation of Government Employees, the union for Transportation Security Officers nationwide, today called on TSA to immediately begin a nationwide radiation monitoring program and provide TSOs with dosimeters to measure radiation output at the checkpoints.
The undersigned employees of the US Government do NOT want to be represented by AFGE. Should the undersigned make up 30% or more of the bargaining unit, the employees hereby petition the NLRB to hold a decertification election. Should the undersigned make up 50% or more of the bargaining unit, the employees hereby request that the US Government withdraw recognition from AFGE immediately.
I hate the way I see waste at all levels at the VA we don't recycle like we should.Plastic, paper, carboard. They remoldeld ICU here and the trash dumpster was full of useable chairs desks copper steel none was recycled it went to the land fill
I worked for the federal government at a VA medical center.The place was crawling with contractors.Funny the way they all kill to get a government contract
How do you save money? The government is doing the same thing the American people are doing. You do the work yourself instead of hiring someone else. Whether it is home repairs/remodeling, automotive up keep or anything else, if you can do it yourself you save money by not paying someone else to do it for you.
