This really annoys me. They rightly state that few people know about this dinosaur. They then proceed to spew complete nonsense and bullshit facts about it. The way they depict it using its arms for example. Yes they were long in therapod terms, but the way they are positioned on its body means they still wouldn't be able to be used to 'bitch slap' a carcharadontosaurus. Tyrannosaurs probably were not exclusive scavengers. There are no other dominant predators in North America at the time. This leaves an enormous niche gap which is inexplicably left unfilled if they were dedicated scavengers. Beyond that, we know some large pterosaurs did not have the strong necks needed for fishing and probably were the prehistoric equivalent of the large condors and vultures we have today. There'd be no way a slow, big theropod could compete with that. Think!

Spinosaurus was like a croc, it must have had powerful jaws to snap at it's prey but it couldn't shake it because of it's skinny neck, so it instinctively went for the neck or it ate smaller animals. @OceanicLyfe Okay, you know more than I do. I've always been fascinated by dinosaurs but I know little about Spinosaurus. I did some research and they think it ate fish. That is hard to believe given it's great size and giant claws. Nature tends to give creatures what they need to survive in their environment. I would think that it needed to eat a lot, if only occasionally. This critter was an odd beast with a jaw like that which leads one to only conjecture.
