@Gericho49 Geoffrey Burbidge's theory of an oscillating universe does not qualify as a proof of any god, nor have I found any evidence that he thought we had any evidence for a god.
'The Bible made the claim that the universe had a beginning', well so did the Egyptian religion, ENUMA ELISH.
The Ex nihilo creation is found in creation stories from ancient Egypt, the Rig Veda, the Bible, Quran, and many animistic cultures in Africa, Asia, Oceania and North America.
So, the Bible seems to be one of those that guessed correctly, because that IS what it was back then when it was written - a guess. Nothing more.
@gjsterp The fine-tuning argument is not about which ancient text got it right. Its about the overwhelming evidence that refutes naturalism-blind forces, mindless matter & chance. God is the only source of absolute truth. Whether "man was formed from the dust of earth" and not as a mistake, but by the abstract immutable laws of science built-in to the very fabric of nature, may one day be proven also. @Gericho49 You wrote - 'If so what survival advantage is offered for those capable of asking questions about meaning & destiny or being capable of appreciating beauty in nature, art &music?'
Nome of the things you mention helped man to survive.
It was science, using reason and such things as the germ theory that has improved and added years to our lives. Of course art and music adds to our enjoyment, but religion only creates conflict. Note all the different beliefs that cause strife.
@anticorncob6 No ! Get ur facts right! in 2007 only 31.2 % claimed to be atheists in an extensive survey of 2198 prestigious research institutes and only 15% said science & religion were in conflict. And no the overwhelming consensus of scientific opinion doesnt favor "materialism" alias blind forces, mindless processes & luck.
In the E&S research scientists who claimed atheism did so for family & social resons not b/c of their science.
Unlike the 15 yr old very selective study done by the all atheist NAS board, the LATEST study according to a survey of members of the American Assn. for the Advancement of Science, conducted by the Pew Research Center in May and June last year (2011), a majority of scientists (51%) say they believe in God or a higher power, while 41% say they do not. NOT 93% !!
@Gericho49 According to nature, 1998, there was a poll of scientists, half replied, I think about 72.2% said they did not believe in a personal God. And 31.2% is still a lot bigger than the percentage of the general public, less than 5%.
Note the difference between belief in God and in a PERSONAL god... most that belief in God believe in an impersonal one.
@anticorncob6 u may want to trust the NAS survey by an all atheist board , that surveyed 2% of its members most of whom were known to be non-believers & only 51% of those actually replied, I dont. I would rather trust more recent surveys as outlined above that occured not 15yrs ago but in 2007 & last yr.
Its such a pity to find that atheists hear only what they want to & then repeat it to likeminded sceptics.
"70% of scientists are atheist." was a lie & u know it!
This video is not proof of god. It is a god of the gaps argument. The Big Bang-Speaks to the start of what is observed now. All other factors happen to be the case. We don't have a cause of the start this is our point of ignorance, this is also the point of the god insertion. I can't disprove the god notions, not an issue. I do reject any man made god notions. So, if it is a god, it is a new notion of god currently unknown.
@MyContext Your comment is not proof for atheism. It is a naturalism of the gaps argument. The Big Bang-Speaks to the start of what is observed now. All other factors happen to be the case. We can know the nature of the cause upon metaphysical grounds. You'd know that if you actually watched video.
@MyContext either the cause is personal or impersonal. well through inductive reasoning (used alot in scientific methodology) we can find out if the cause is personal or impersonal using our current understanding of the nature of each potential causes. so, this is not ignorance. its called reason. particularly reason to the best explaination (inductive reasoning)
@MyContext What is called science by the *science-worshippers* of the present age and regarded by them as equivalent to the sum total of *reality*, is simply a collection of laws applicable to a single dimension of the world. The result of all human effort and experimentation is a body of knowledge concerning a minute bright dot comparable to the dim light of a candle-surrounded by a dark night enveloping a huge desert of indefinite extent.
All praise is due to ALLAH, the Lord of the Universe.
@1tabligh Yes, science is still in the dark about many things and will probably remain that way for as long as our species exists. But how does religion shine any light on anything the matters in reality?
It doesn't. It is merely an imagined reality, like so much of the fiction of our day.
One fiction is just as good as another for entertainment value, but isn't it time to step into the light of reality when it comes to religion?
Matter is in continuous motion and constant development. This is a fact on which we all agree. Further, matter requires a cause that moves it. This is another fact admitted with no disputation. The most basic issue regarding the philosophy of motion is this. Can the matter in motion be the cause or agent of its motion?
@gjsterp In other words, that which moves is the subject of motion, while the mover is the cause of motion. Can the same thing in the same respect be simultaneously a subject of motion and a cause of it?
@gjsterp With regard to this issue, this is the only explanation that the dialectic can offer as a justification of the dynamism of matter. However, it is very easy to see why this explanation cannot be adopted from a scientific point of view. If hydrogen were to contain its contradictory essentially and to develop due to this fact, in accordance with the alleged dialectical laws, then why is it that not all the hydrogen atoms were completed?
@1tabligh You use 'tricky' words to make your arguments. You say that which is moved has a 'mover' which infers a creature is involved. I consciously move a chair, therefore I am the chair 'mover'.
The universe moves therefore it has a 'mover' does not follow logically. It most certainly has a cause for its movement, but not a 'mover'.
The moon effects the oceans which cause the tides, but to say the moon is the 'mover' of the tides is to incorrectly give the moon an anthropomorphic quality.
@1tabligh It would appear that whatever is at the center of our galaxy is causing the motion of the stars within it. What caused each of these scientifically postulated Black Holes to form and get their initial movement is the question astronomers seek to answer. I doubt we will see any god in their future hypotheses.
@MyContext What rot! It is an argument based on an overwhelming consensus of scientific opinion that concludes that of 3 possibilities chance, physical necessity & design, the latter is the most plausible explanation. The FACTS are that the universe is finite, rationally intellligible, law abiding and life-permitting, It is atheism that cant let go of chance or necessity on ideological grounds so they invent fanciful theories without any evidence.-"science of the gaps" indeed!
Whether multiverses exist (and they cant be proven) there cant be an infinite regression of past finite universes. As such the logical deduction is there must be a transcendent uncaused cause that exists outside of time, space & matter, what we call the eternal creator, God.
The infinite as in infinite past time exists nowhere in nature, it remains solely that of an idea" Dave Hilbert.
@MyContext Not at all! the overwhelming consensus of scientific opinion based on actual science is for design & fine tuning. It's actually a "science of the gaps" argument to suggest chance in the form of purely hypothetical multiverse theories. There r at least 9 of them & they all contradict each other. Its very easy to account for fanciful theories than to account for scientifically testable ones. Theism need one universe to account for design atheist resorts to an infinite no.
In the 19th century, the "God of the gaps" was finding himself in a narrower and narrower niche. However, 20th century & now 21st century science is leading us back down the road of design -not from a lack of scientific explanation, but from physics & cosmology that requires an appeal to the extremely unlikely something that science does not deal well with. As a result of the recent evidence in support of design, many scientists now believe in God.4more citationsSee godevidence . com
The degree to which the constants of physics must match precise criteria is such that even a number of agnostic scientists have concluded that there is some sort of "supernatural plan" or "Agency" behind it. How then can we account for Fine-
Tuning by purely naturalistic processes? Theres only 3 possible explanations to explain fine-tuning
1. Chance 2. Necessity3.Design itself
PCDavies estimates that the fine-tuning is equivalent to shootin a dart into a target 20bill light yrs away
@Gericho49 The god that your science proposes is not the one of the NT, but only one of a designer, and a very unconcerned SOB at that. google birth defects and then diseases, and then catastrophes, and show me how your loving designer god plays into all of that.
You've heard of C. Sagan and Neil Degrasse Tyson? What do these men say, and where are ALL the other astronomers defending the idea of god? That is the REAL gap of the god idea.
Science tell us absolutely nothing about the existence of God. Science is not concerned with any concept of God. All science is, is an examination of what is known to exist in the natural world. That's all! Why do you people think that science has an agenda against God? It is the religious who have a problem with science, because science shows us how things work...which happens to conflict with stubborn beliefs held by many people, not to mention biblical claims.
Showing evidence for a person be it Jesus- the human incarnation of God, or God The Father, or Bob ;), is somewhat pointless as it's not a scientific approach that proves them but a historical one, this is why science has no direct evidence for the "Body" of God. God is not "scientific laws" as the atheist community looks at it but a person that set the world and UNIVERSE!! in motion. :)
Try doing anything without prior knowledge of it, then sir, we will talk. BTW faith is the assumed prior knowledge part. This is for anyone who will argue that you must leave reason/faith behind. :)
@BarrelsPolesandJack Really¿? So that means starting from today and on I have to keep up what i think ¿?
I mean, this is a place for saying what is on your mind! And in fact if u look around, it says "comments" and comments are opinions and opinions are provided by us. ;)
@BarrelsPolesandJack Cosmilogical argument, DNA, all that stuff, just search it up. But of course I know you will just keep replying until I give every scrap of my knowledge because you just HAVE to win.
@BarrelsPolesandJack Well, if you do research you'll find out how these have been debunked, and also note: 70% of scientists are atheists, do you think that many scientists are ignorant?
@anticorncob6 Ignorance is a matter of perception, my friend. What is proof but that which is written by someone who's witnessed the event? Otherwise, how else will anyone ever find out about it? Such is the case with the Bible. It is WRITTEN PROOF that God exists.
@SIC66SIC66 I said proof that is written by someone who WITNESSED, as in, was actually there and saw what happened with their very own eyes, the event. How else can you tell others about what you saw except through word of mouth? Wouldn't they, in turn, if you witnessed something so spectacular and great, and awesome in power, want to share it with others? By the way, "Allah" is NOT my God. My God is a kind and loving God, and yours isn't. If you want to talk about a "warped" view of reality...
First, the new testament is written WAY later, long after the facts. So this is not proof of anything. Myths are not proof.
Second. The Quran is a book telling you about Allah, why is that not PROOF then?? Dont be a hypocrite and apply the same skeptical look to your own beliefs as you do to others.
And I am not a muslim, I am an atheist. So dont tell me what I think when you dont know me.
@SIC66SIC66 So...you're watching this video why? Look. I'm through debating with you. I know God exists because I have a personal relationship with Him. I hear Him, and He hears me. He talks to me; I talk to Him. That's the only proof I need. If you don't like it, then take it up with Him, because He's the one in charge. I am just His servant.
@BarrelsPolesandJack Yes, thats right, when you you dont know it anymore, resort to being stubborn, dont give up, you know you are right even if the evidence is against you.
You just talk to yourself mate.. When you hear voices in your head, we say, you are crazy and need treatment.
Be skeptical about these things man, dont buy into it without any research. Its all make belief. There is absolutely no basis to believe there is any kind of god.
@SIC66SIC66 "If God is for us, who can be against us?" ~Romans 8:31 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God." ~John 1:1 "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." ~Genesis 1:1
You know, my friend, God desires that NO ONE be sent to hell, as it states in 2 Peter 3:9. And John 3:16 tells us of how much He loves us. This is for ANYONE who wants to live the life that only God can give: life through His Spirit! Please repent, and be saved!
@BarrelsPolesandJack If god doesn't want is to go to hell why did he make it? Isnt he all-powerful?
Doesn't god kill THOUSANDS of people during the stories in the bible? Didnt he make the devil?
I would like you to spor preaching to me for a moment, and think... think about it all. Are you applying the same amount of skepticism to your beliefs as to other things in life? I dont ask you to stop believing, I ask you to educate yourself please, and look, look for yourself
@SIC66SIC66 Your prepotency if GLOBAL hahaha Im done with you x)
Why are you telling a girl with faith to educate herself ?! And about the killings of God, you educate yourself because you obviously dont know what dictators did on earth. But Im glad that at least to call Him a killer you assume He is real ;)
For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountains of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries. (Robert Jastrow)
at 45 minutes he says he knows people with so much evidence for the resurrection of Jesus, I'd like to know what form does this evidence take?? As many people have pointed out, the bible is strewn with errors. He is a likeable guy, and a lot of what he says makes sense, but i'd like hardcore evidence of god, and i just dont see it, so, on that basis, I'm happy to remain an atheist.
In a certain Christian theology, that fact that you need "hardcore evidence" is to be expected. It is taught that God chooses his people, and without God's act of regeneration, you cannot come to believe in him. So when you say that you are happy to remain an Atheist, and I find myself completely believing that you mean what you say. Also, the bible isn't "strewn with errors". You'd have to interpret it in a very strict context to keep that idea alive.
@3leftsandaright yes you can, all that is required is that god not have a physical body, because time only measures mass over distance traveled. God being a spiritual being (having no mass) makes this possible.
I can see how there might be a designer, and maybe he even knows of our existence. This in no way validates yahweh any more than wotan or poseidon. It's one thing to claim that there is a grand design to the universe, and a grand designer. It's a whole different proclamation to say the designer intended us to come into being, and inspired a book written by ignorant desert dwellers. Heaven and Hell are in a dimension unable to be found unless you die. God is like a judge in the court marshall to determine where to go to.
Heaven= Your personal space. Let whatever imagination you have run free!
Hell= Whatever you DON'T want it to be? Try to break the system? You don't get an afterlife.
Makes sense with science because it's tucked away so it cannot interfere with, well, Science.
Oh, and karma has an effect on heaven/hell to--

@anticorncob6 No ! Get ur facts right! in 2007 only 31.2 % claimed to be atheists in an extensive survey of 2198 prestigious research institutes and only 15% said science & religion were in conflict. And no the overwhelming consensus of scientific opinion doesnt favor "materialism" alias blind forces, mindless processes & luck.
Get over it!
Gericho49 1 month ago
In the E&S research scientists who claimed atheism did so for family & social resons not b/c of their science.
Unlike the 15 yr old very selective study done by the all atheist NAS board, the LATEST study according to a survey of members of the American Assn. for the Advancement of Science, conducted by the Pew Research Center in May and June last year (2011), a majority of scientists (51%) say they believe in God or a higher power, while 41% say they do not. NOT 93% !!
Gericho49 1 month ago
@Gericho49 I believe that survey was done in 2009, but the year is not the point.
A more telling factor might be the fields these non-believing scientists work in,
Some fields probably give more evidence not to believe, while other fields do not conflict with some beliefs.
Is the universe expanding or does god suck?
gjsterp 1 month ago
@Gericho49 According to nature, 1998, there was a poll of scientists, half replied, I think about 72.2% said they did not believe in a personal God. And 31.2% is still a lot bigger than the percentage of the general public, less than 5%.
Note the difference between belief in God and in a PERSONAL god... most that belief in God believe in an impersonal one.
anticorncob6 1 month ago

MyContext 7 months ago
@MyContext Your comment is not proof for atheism. It is a naturalism of the gaps argument. The Big Bang-Speaks to the start of what is observed now. All other factors happen to be the case. We can know the nature of the cause upon metaphysical grounds. You'd know that if you actually watched video.

@MyContext either the cause is personal or impersonal. well through inductive reasoning (used alot in scientific methodology) we can find out if the cause is personal or impersonal using our current understanding of the nature of each potential causes. so, this is not ignorance. its called reason. particularly reason to the best explaination (inductive reasoning)
lilrat489 6 months ago
@MyContext What is called science by the *science-worshippers* of the present age and regarded by them as equivalent to the sum total of *reality*, is simply a collection of laws applicable to a single dimension of the world. The result of all human effort and experimentation is a body of knowledge concerning a minute bright dot comparable to the dim light of a candle-surrounded by a dark night enveloping a huge desert of indefinite extent.
All praise is due to ALLAH, the Lord of the Universe.
1tabligh 4 months ago
@1tabligh Yes, science is still in the dark about many things and will probably remain that way for as long as our species exists. But how does religion shine any light on anything the matters in reality?
It doesn't. It is merely an imagined reality, like so much of the fiction of our day.
One fiction is just as good as another for entertainment value, but isn't it time to step into the light of reality when it comes to religion?

@gjsterp
Matter or God?
Take your choice!
Matter and Motion
Matter is in continuous motion and constant development. This is a fact on which we all agree. Further, matter requires a cause that moves it. This is another fact admitted with no disputation. The most basic issue regarding the philosophy of motion is this. Can the matter in motion be the cause or agent of its motion?
1tabligh 4 months ago
@1tabligh The question of where everything came from or what moves everything may forever be unanswerable, and it is at present.
This is a question that stumps everyone, so religious people try to use this unanswered question, and then give their explanation for it.
But what caused the universe is NOT in question.
What is in question is the absent god(s) that men hold up as deserving of worship.
Lets discuss your Merciful God that is absent from our daily lives.
gjsterp 4 months ago
@gjsterp In other words, that which moves is the subject of motion, while the mover is the cause of motion. Can the same thing in the same respect be simultaneously a subject of motion and a cause of it?
1tabligh 4 months ago
@1tabligh If you want to believe that a god started the motion of everything, that's your belief.
I already stated that answer is unknowable.
But then I have to ask you, 'Where is that god now?'
Watching us like some vindictive peeping tom or Santa Claus?
gjsterp 4 months ago
@gjsterp With regard to this issue, this is the only explanation that the dialectic can offer as a justification of the dynamism of matter. However, it is very easy to see why this explanation cannot be adopted from a scientific point of view. If hydrogen were to contain its contradictory essentially and to develop due to this fact, in accordance with the alleged dialectical laws, then why is it that not all the hydrogen atoms were completed?
1tabligh 4 months ago
@1tabligh AGAIN ! Regarding your post 'With regard to this issue, this is the only explanation...'
This post was ALSO cut and pasted from mike adkins website and posted here, though you started it with 'Dodging the questions and quibbling in vain!'
It would appear that it is YOU who is dodging, quibbling and cutting and pasting in VAIN !
gjsterp 4 months ago
@1tabligh You use 'tricky' words to make your arguments. You say that which is moved has a 'mover' which infers a creature is involved. I consciously move a chair, therefore I am the chair 'mover'.
The universe moves therefore it has a 'mover' does not follow logically. It most certainly has a cause for its movement, but not a 'mover'.
The moon effects the oceans which cause the tides, but to say the moon is the 'mover' of the tides is to incorrectly give the moon an anthropomorphic quality.

Will you please stop cutting and pasting your old posts from mike adkins website?
You posted the above June 10, 2010 on mike's web site.
Can you come up with more original material?

@1tabligh It would appear that whatever is at the center of our galaxy is causing the motion of the stars within it. What caused each of these scientifically postulated Black Holes to form and get their initial movement is the question astronomers seek to answer. I doubt we will see any god in their future hypotheses.
gjsterp 4 months ago
@gjsterp [In other words], why did the essential completion pertain to some atoms and not to others?
1tabligh 3 months ago
@MyContext What rot! It is an argument based on an overwhelming consensus of scientific opinion that concludes that of 3 possibilities chance, physical necessity & design, the latter is the most plausible explanation. The FACTS are that the universe is finite, rationally intellligible, law abiding and life-permitting, It is atheism that cant let go of chance or necessity on ideological grounds so they invent fanciful theories without any evidence.-"science of the gaps" indeed!
Gericho49 1 month ago
Whether multiverses exist (and they cant be proven) there cant be an infinite regression of past finite universes. As such the logical deduction is there must be a transcendent uncaused cause that exists outside of time, space & matter, what we call the eternal creator, God.
The infinite as in infinite past time exists nowhere in nature, it remains solely that of an idea" Dave Hilbert.
Gericho49 1 month ago
@MyContext Not at all! the overwhelming consensus of scientific opinion based on actual science is for design & fine tuning. It's actually a "science of the gaps" argument to suggest chance in the form of purely hypothetical multiverse theories. There r at least 9 of them & they all contradict each other. Its very easy to account for fanciful theories than to account for scientifically testable ones. Theism need one universe to account for design atheist resorts to an infinite no.
Gericho49 1 month ago
In the 19th century, the "God of the gaps" was finding himself in a narrower and narrower niche. However, 20th century & now 21st century science is leading us back down the road of design -not from a lack of scientific explanation, but from physics & cosmology that requires an appeal to the extremely unlikely something that science does not deal well with. As a result of the recent evidence in support of design, many scientists now believe in God.4more citationsSee godevidence . com
Gericho49 1 month ago
The degree to which the constants of physics must match precise criteria is such that even a number of agnostic scientists have concluded that there is some sort of "supernatural plan" or "Agency" behind it. How then can we account for Fine-
Tuning by purely naturalistic processes? Theres only 3 possible explanations to explain fine-tuning
1. Chance 2. Necessity3.Design itself
PCDavies estimates that the fine-tuning is equivalent to shootin a dart into a target 20bill light yrs away
Gericho49 1 month ago
@Gericho49 The god that your science proposes is not the one of the NT, but only one of a designer, and a very unconcerned SOB at that. google birth defects and then diseases, and then catastrophes, and show me how your loving designer god plays into all of that.
You've heard of C. Sagan and Neil Degrasse Tyson? What do these men say, and where are ALL the other astronomers defending the idea of god? That is the REAL gap of the god idea.
gjsterp 3 weeks ago
Science tell us absolutely nothing about the existence of God. Science is not concerned with any concept of God. All science is, is an examination of what is known to exist in the natural world. That's all! Why do you people think that science has an agenda against God? It is the religious who have a problem with science, because science shows us how things work...which happens to conflict with stubborn beliefs held by many people, not to mention biblical claims.
JamesMorlan 7 months ago 3
@JamesMorlan That's the problem, science doesn't have an agenda against God.

Showing evidence for a person be it Jesus- the human incarnation of God, or God The Father, or Bob ;), is somewhat pointless as it's not a scientific approach that proves them but a historical one, this is why science has no direct evidence for the "Body" of God. God is not "scientific laws" as the atheist community looks at it but a person that set the world and UNIVERSE!! in motion. :)

@anticorncob6 Ignorance is a matter of perception, my friend. What is proof but that which is written by someone who's witnessed the event? Otherwise, how else will anyone ever find out about it? Such is the case with the Bible. It is WRITTEN PROOF that God exists.

@BarrelsPolesandJack If you really believe what you just said, you're not ready for a debate.
anticorncob6 5 months ago
@BarrelsPolesandJack No the Bible it is not proof of anything. In your logic Allah exists because the Quran is the proof of it.
Also I can write a book how Santa Claus is real. Your logic is flawed in many ways.
You you have a warped view on reality. And you refuse to educate yourself on these matters, you rather stay dumb then find out you were wrong.
So you are ignorant of the facts. Its a fact.
SIC66SIC66 5 months ago
@SIC66SIC66 I said proof that is written by someone who WITNESSED, as in, was actually there and saw what happened with their very own eyes, the event. How else can you tell others about what you saw except through word of mouth? Wouldn't they, in turn, if you witnessed something so spectacular and great, and awesome in power, want to share it with others? By the way, "Allah" is NOT my God. My God is a kind and loving God, and yours isn't. If you want to talk about a "warped" view of reality...
BarrelsPolesandJack 5 months ago
@BarrelsPolesandJack You dont have a clue what I am talking about man..
SIC66SIC66 5 months ago
@SIC66SIC66 So...you're watching this video why? Look. I'm through debating with you. I know God exists because I have a personal relationship with Him. I hear Him, and He hears me. He talks to me; I talk to Him. That's the only proof I need. If you don't like it, then take it up with Him, because He's the one in charge. I am just His servant.
BarrelsPolesandJack 5 months ago
@BarrelsPolesandJack Yes, thats right, when you you dont know it anymore, resort to being stubborn, dont give up, you know you are right even if the evidence is against you.
You just talk to yourself mate.. When you hear voices in your head, we say, you are crazy and need treatment.
Be skeptical about these things man, dont buy into it without any research. Its all make belief. There is absolutely no basis to believe there is any kind of god.
SIC66SIC66 5 months ago
@SIC66SIC66 "If God is for us, who can be against us?" ~Romans 8:31 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God." ~John 1:1 "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." ~Genesis 1:1
You know, my friend, God desires that NO ONE be sent to hell, as it states in 2 Peter 3:9. And John 3:16 tells us of how much He loves us. This is for ANYONE who wants to live the life that only God can give: life through His Spirit! Please repent, and be saved!
BarrelsPolesandJack 5 months ago
@BarrelsPolesandJack If god doesn't want is to go to hell why did he make it? Isnt he all-powerful?
Doesn't god kill THOUSANDS of people during the stories in the bible? Didnt he make the devil?
I would like you to spor preaching to me for a moment, and think... think about it all. Are you applying the same amount of skepticism to your beliefs as to other things in life? I dont ask you to stop believing, I ask you to educate yourself please, and look, look for yourself
Educate yourself please

@SIC66SIC66 Your prepotency if GLOBAL hahaha Im done with you x)

For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountains of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries. at 45 minutes he says he knows people with so much evidence for the resurrection of Jesus, I'd like to know what form does this evidence take?? As many people have pointed out, the bible is strewn with errors. He is a likeable guy, and a lot of what he says makes sense, but i'd like hardcore evidence of god, and i just dont see it, so, on that basis, I'm happy to remain an atheist.
bonnie43uk 9 months ago
@bonnie43uk
