Violence? What violence? There was no violence in the video. Looks like they handled these losers with kid gloves. They should have given them the beating their parents failed to give them, and they so richly deserve...
There needs to be a full blown violent take-over of washington d.c. (deceitful crooks).
I say at least 100,000 angry citizens should invade that shithole and physically capture, throw out and detain every single crooked politician, lobbyist and congress member while executing other scum on the spot. That is the only way positive CHANGE for the common people will occur. This country is run by an evil oligarchy that needs to be stopped a.s.a.p for the betterment of the nation. FIGHT BACK!
@insanelylogical, What you seem not to realize is that DC is a city of over 600,000 people who have no representation in this country. Calling an entire city (one that you clearly know nothing of) a "shithole" is incredibly ignorant. They are YOUR politicians, NOT ours. DC has not doesn't have a vote in congress. DC doesn't even have full home-rule and budget autonomy. Yet, DC pays more federal taxes per capita then any state with the exception of Connecticut.
hey guess what........... i have a job , pay my taxes, feed my family, pay my bills oh yea did i mention pay my taxes which in turn pays the police to keep me safe and you occupy people need to pay up ur costing me money
Anyone, who's interested about the truth about the birth of OWS and the power structure behind the US uprising should listen to, "Truth of the plan for the New World order, recording made 1967 Myron c Fagan". After careful consideration and weeks of research revolving around the "Occupation", I've come to understand its fake. It is not a so called, "a grassroots" birther but is indeed an orchestrated "astroturf " movement. I challenge, all to type in the Myron C Fagon terms above & listen.
@bigdog92253 Yeah, I've been at Occupy DC for two month, police didn't beat anyone. DC police are much smarter than NYC police. DC has a protest practically every week, it's nothing new.
I really hate those fucking horses though, they freak out WAY too easily. We built a barn in our park, and the cops brought 3 of the horses inside while there were people in there, and one of the horses just flipped out and started kicking. We weren't even yelling or anything, just sitting. =/
for all you who dont know the government is about to declare war on american citizens believed to be "terrorists" in there definition it includes anyone involved in protesting look up ndaa 1031
Without any cause or plan or education, you're just a bunch of assholes lying in a street and keeping people with jobs from getting to work. What does that accomplish? Nothing. Its very hard for me to side with American police, but these occupy douches make it so easy.
Looks like more people are putting there Ass on the line and going to jail for what they feel is right. The more that people in this country suffer the more the cops arrest peaceful protesters the more protesters will come to the protests. Every time they do something to shut it down it just brings more people to the cause. Its going to get worse before it gets better, we have a long way to go if we want Real Change in this country.
@casinohijack If they vote en masse, they will make change. If they turn more people against them by being disorganized or failing to provide a coherrent message, then it will be a net loss of votes. If they want to make real changes, they need to start making sense to the majority of Americans.
@MeanPokerFace If they DONT VOTE in mass they will make even more of a CHANGE. It will show the rest of humanity that the system is not being supported and people loose confidence in this country. There are plenty of them that make sense not all of them should heck its the 99% not everyone is going to understand everything about what is going on. Some people specialize in one thing while another specialize on another. As long as there is no one that is at the head of this movement it will go far.
@casinohijack I have to respectfully disagree. Not voting is a step backwards - it's akin to making sure their voices aren't heard when it counts most. In the 2008 election, alot of republicans stayed home when alot of Democrats were motivated and came out in force. By not voting, it's a boycott of Democracy and thats the biggest way to maintain the Status Quo. Or losing the right altogether...
@MeanPokerFace NO its showing that the system is not working anymore if people STOP VOTING. That does not mean that people are still not going to Vote nore that someone will get Voted into office it will just show that people are not supporting this corrupt system. Democrazy has failed its failed here in this country and its failed us trying to set it up all over the world. Republicans+Democrats= a two headed one party system which is bought and paid for by Big Business and Wall st.
@casinohijack I cannot argue with you - not because I agree but because I have no idea where your point of reference is within the confines of reality. Who argues not-voting = change? The best result I can figure out Not Voting will give us is an Emporer or a King(i.e. historically any government that forms in absense of democracy) . The worst case, the percentage of people who want free handouts vote for the guy who promise the most handouts.
@MeanPokerFace I have a saying "you cant expect a unintelligent person to make a intelligent decision". The level of intelligence of a lot of people in this country is not that high, i mean in some areas yes people are Awakening. Its going to take Work to make this country what it was and that means a huge overhaul of the government as well as our money system which is just not working for humanity anymore. The World is Bankrupt, what does that mean how can a planet be Bankrupt?
@MeanPokerFace I was never easily manipulated. When someone used to give me a order to Jump i would look at them stupid and say "Why"? When my teachers would try and teach me something i would say "This is Stupid" i said that over and over and got in trouble for it at home and at school. At least i know now i was right that my parents were Stupid as well as my teachers. Always question authority always. People these days do not even understand what True Freedom is anymore.
@MeanPokerFace They can't arrest an idea. Even if they managed to arrest us all, there will be no more slaves to exploit. Either ways, they will be fucked.
@Vercetti667 You have to work to be exploited. What do you do for a living? I work in manufaxturing aircraft and defense equipment. I do not feel exploited.
@Vercetti667 Well, I own my houses outright because I believe in paying off my debts ASAP, and not borrowing what I cannot payoff in a few years. Unlike people who bought houses they could not afford to pay even the mortgage.
@Vercetti667 If I get retrenched, as you say, I'll get a new gig because I can make money for my employers and customers. It took me alot of years to develop the talent of profitability, and I'm not the best by any means, but the key to keeping money in your pocket is putting money in the pockets of people who have more money and keeping a small piece for yourself. It's a forgotten mentality that would help many of this country's disgruntled inhabitants.
@USgovernmentLies I wish you all the best in taking back your freedom, continue the good fight the world is with you. We are human being, not slaves to some rich mofos gambling away our future.
Whats with all this protesting anyway? Between Unions with jobs and looser's without jobs, it's all the standing around with picket signs thats the problem. They are poor because they stand around bitching all day about being poor.
@EclecticSceptic Okay, how's this. Privatize 90% of the Federal Government and see how much less taxes it takes to run the country. With 40% of our tax money going straight to overhead costs and another 20% going to payroll, we could save 30% of all tax dollars by hiring the private sector wth a 30% total overhead/parole(higher than most do anyways) cap and using the money to further fund social programs and hiring these protesters at an above minimum wage rate. How 'bout it?
@MeanPokerFace I agree that government administration should be made more efficient. However I think trying to achieve this by privatisation is kind of crazy because having a private government is an oxymoron. I'm an engineering student, (I live in Ireland by the way) and I want to send a team of engineers and accountants into the civil service to make it efficient. Engineers because they can analyse systems and optimise performance. I don't think you need to privatise.
@EclecticSceptic I have to confess, I am anti-bureaucracy. As an engineer, you are probably familiar with the concepts industrial engineers use to make manufacturing more "lean" and efficient. Lean, by the way, was pioneered by Japanese auto manufacturing, not a public entity but an industry looking to compete with American Car companies. The problem with making government mean is that there is only one way to stop a government from growing and thats budget control.
@EclecticSceptic The sole purpose of the government is to provide a service, not to provide a service better, faster, cheaper than someone else. As soon as there is a bar to compete against, as in competitive activity, there is incentive to be better, faster, cheaper, leaner, etc
@MeanPokerFace *I don't think you need to privatise, you just need to streamline intelligently. Monetary incentive isn't the only means of achieving performance. In fact it's quite a brutish and ineffective means.
@MeanPokerFace Well the first thing (not an incentive) would be to redesign the whole bureaucracy. As far as I know, the civil service was designed by civil servants - who didn't necessarily have the type efficiency skills required - as they went along, the same civil servants who might benefit from certain inefficiencies. So the civil service would have to be redesigned by people who don't work there. Communication lines would be cleverly designed, management etc.
@EclecticSceptic Might be the right approach, but bureauracry is an insidious monster. Even the best organizations get bulky - until they lose customers and slim down. A redesign of the structure for a Government means causing havoc with the establishment - i.e. the internal politics, cronyisms, etc. If the leadership of an agency came up through the ranks(which is usually the case in public institutions), they are loath to shake it up because they've made deals along the way
@MeanPokerFace Oh yeah that's definitely true, that sclerotic attitude is certainly an obstacle. It really highlights in the first place why restructuring is necessary. What kind of institution is completely opposed to change? That's ridiculous. I think this system of people rising up the ranks through corrupt appointment or simply being there for a long time is stupid. People should be promoted based on their ideas and efficiency.
@MeanPokerFace As in, I think a problem is that there seems to be this attitude that people can just turn up to work for the government and that's good enough. I don't know if much effort is ever put into updating the stuctures. I bet there are sectors that are unnecessary, or that could be merged. And that there are big opportunities to stop files getting backed up for months, too many cooks spoiling the broth etc.
It just needs some people to say 'we're going to improve this'
@EclecticSceptic Cooks spoiling the broth is a good analogy. With the nature of Gov work, noone wants to sign off on decisions, so an army of paperpushers is created to dilute the accountability - thus the stacking of management, diluting responsibility and discouraging change agents and new ideas. Because Government is not measured by profitability, the cycle continues and before long you have 50 people managing 10. Add Competition and a quantifiable measure of performance.
@MeanPokerFace Yeah as in we both have the same concerns, just I think we'd take different approaches. I'd always try to improve it without privatising or adding a monetary incentive first.
@MeanPokerFace I'd gladly wipe out the Union's ability to lobby in exchange for wiping out the corporations and banks ability to lobby. Lobbying is the heart of the cancer that is killing America.
@BristolPalinsBabyDad I'd support that idea. For me, it starts with Campaign Finance Reform. Whoever gives the most money to Politicians get the most access once they are elected. But the nature of consolidated power leads to corruption, so perhaps we need Campaign Reform and quadruple the number of Representatives and Senators - or better yet, all Legislation is voted directly through public ballot initiative.
@catgoddess11 Good, with the others who feel the same way, maybe you guys could rent a bus together and go to Mexico. Less dead weight for the most productive country in the history of man to carry around...
@MeanPokerFace Your name pretty much shows you for what you are , along with all your comments. You're a troll, probably paid by the Koch brothers or some other 1%'er. As for being 'dead weight', I would be willing to bet that statement would apply more to you than me. I've worked fulltime since I was 18- a very long time ago. Mexico is not where I have in mind to move to, shows how limited your thinking is.
Oh, and this country used to be productive, but since all these huge corporations don't care about anything except profit, they moved almost all manufacturing out of this country, so besides GMO food, what exactly is this country producing? Oh wait, I know! It's producing slave minions and police/military task masters to control them.
@catgoddess11 Can't disagree with you on the jobs issue. I tried to buy only gifts that were "Made in USA", but could'nt find much out there. Finally settled for not "Made in China". Except electronics. Thats all Chinese made. Tried buying a bike made in the USA -all China or Taiwan. Clothes - all India or China(except an Italian sweater and pair of shoes).
@MeanPokerFace I have been trying to post links here for you on places to buy American made, but it will not accept the post. Guess it doesn't like other links Oh well.
@MeanPokerFace I commented on your channel page, it took it there. There was another post I made here, but I don't see it so that must not have worked either. But what I said was that most bikes are made in China, but Trek and Scott still make some here. They are very high end bikes though. New Balance shoes are made here, and some Newton's (athletic shoes) Some of the appliance co. listed on the link I sent make some of them here, but not necessarily all so you have to check.
Edenpure makes an infrared heater, made in Ohio. Bunn coffeemakers used to be made here, I would check again to see if still true. Viking, Bosch, DCS, and Wolf make microwaves here. Point is, you have to be willing to do the research and you can find USA made.
@catgoddess11 I'll check it out, thanks. I wear NB running shoes, but never seen any US made(I always check with shoes). I looked at Trek, Scott, Cannondales, Rocky Mountain, etc and the ones in the stores were China or Taiwan. I'll do the research and see where I can find the US made ones. Probably top of the line but likely worth ther extra bucks. I just busted my second frame made in China, though this last one took some serious abuse before busting the derailer hanger
@catgoddess11 Ooooh, straight to the name calling! Your fiesty. Please accept my apology - I respect anyone who works(makes you part of the 50%ers) Let me know where you want to go, I'll buy you a oneway ticket. One less America Hater is worth the cost.
@MeanPokerFace if only it were that simple. To move to another country I have to have proof of a certain amount of income, or have a job with a company in that country who will vouch that I do in fact work for them. And I will elaborate better on my position, the country(America) is fine, its the corrupt government we have that I hate. The one that is the lapdog of the financial institutions, Big Oil, Big AG, Big Pharma, etc. The one that is suppressing its own peaceful citizens
@catgoddess11 Thus, Mexico is the best option : ) Just kidding. I hear what you are saying, but it runs deeper than a corrupt government behld by corporations. They are beheld by 'special interests' in general - ACLU, AFL-CIO, teachers unions, religious PACS, etc. in addition to large companies.
@catgoddess11 Let's not also forget that, at the end of the day, elections are expensive and politicians have to sell out for contributions. In the last election, who vowed to use public funds and then backed out when he sold out Wall Street? And who fought for campaign reform and lost because he was out-spent? Let the Occupiers speak clearly and protest privately funded campaigns. Thats the real path to change. Once that happens, an honest American can run and win.
@MeanPokerFace Ultra rich, 1%er's that own a conglomeration of corporations and throw tons of money into the political system. Big players in getting Citizens United passed because they have bought off judges as well as politicians.
You say you work for 'various' governments, would that include the U.S.' own Shadow Government? You know, the one that is moving towards detaining its own citizens indefinitely?
I know I will get shut down here but here it goes......I see a definate line being drawn between people and it really scares me. The 99%ers on one side and the people who call them names on the other, the focus is turning away from its purpose and its becoming a discrimination thing. I said a while ago the 99ers need a purpose or it would fall apart and here it comes...there will be a fall back, verbal bashing, resentment, anger and finally...WAR..THEY wait for you guys to fight THEY want it.
Jewish Bankers are looting our country. Obama's Treasury Secretary, Timothy Geithner is now in Greece forcing & threatening the Greece Government to implement severe austirity measures.
We must defeat these Jewish Bankers if we want to prevent the destruction of our children's & grandchildren's future.
"The activists BRAVED the rain and cold on K street"? So did the cops douche bag! All while being shouted at, trying to deal with drug addicts, homeless people and bums that have nothing better to do. And for what? Where's the change? What exactly is happening because of this? NOTHING!
@escodman What attention, idiot? I have a job, I pay my taxes and I don't engage in illegal activity, unlike these dirty bums. Do your homework, sloth. The majority of the "protestors" are homeless and have nothing better to do.
The real criminals work at the government that clears unconstitutional bill after bill and the real criminals also work in the banking cartel, incl. the FED. If you still don't understand that, YOU should do your homework.
@megalodonNL I don't need to do any homework retard. I'm confused as to what YOU and the dummies like you think you're going to accomplish with this nonsense. How many days has this been going on? What is going to come of it? NOTHING!!! AND why shouldn't the cops arrest these people? Please tell me!
Well, I admit I got mixed feelings myself about a lot of these things, but these people have a RIGHT to protest in peaceful way. A LOT of constitutional rights have been trampled by government and banking industry. They are the real criminals if you think about it.Why can't ppl use THEIR RIGHT to demonstrate against the unethical banking industry and government? Well, these movements send out that message to the world. Will it help? Who knows. But it's their RIGHT.
@blumpkinish what would you rather everyone just bent over to just allow ourselves to get taken from behind. were slaves with minimal freedom and its only getting worse. unless you've got a better idea.. or maybe you like it from behind and would want the same for your kids and their kids and so on. Grow a pair. i only wish they went all out and attacked any pig who tried to arrest them. get organised people these cowards can eat dick when the change is really made.
@CommonSense0695 Wow... Way to show your ignorance. What exactly did the cops do here? Oh yeah, signed up for a job that you clearly don't have the balls to do, only to be forced into this situation. I'd like to see your reaction if you were surrounded by hundreds of people shouting at you. "The 99%"? Really? What's the population of D.C.? I'd be willing to bet the protestors equal less than 1%, you idiot. I'll ask again, what exactly do you think these people are changing?
These are all the dumbasses who voted for Obama, and now they're laying in the streets whining because they're not getting their welfare checks Obama made them feel they were getting.
@reb618, "welfare", "student loans", "house and car loans", "donations", etc are at the end of the day all "hand outs".
the middle class gets more hand outs in loans alone then people on welfare. so, were all partly to blame for the financial crisis in some way shape or form. no one in this country (me and you included) wasn't born with loads of money. we all need some kind of "aid" to get ahead.
presidency has little to nothing to do with it. it's broken beyond repair.
@92680BOYD I've taken out loans for 2 cars and 2 houses and paid them all back with interest. I have good credit, I earn a paycheck and have earned money from my investments, all possible by borrowing at a fair rate. How is that a handout?
@MeanPokerFace, it's the simple fact that nobody can afford anything period. they make everything literally impossible to afford today. of course, the only people who don't really need to take out loans are the wealthy. and honestly, would you take out a loan for a frozen pizza?. no. because you have the money for it. and your speaking for yourself, you did well and more power to you, but not everyone can rely on investments. bottom line, things have to eventually change.
@92680BOYD Think about this: we have the right to own property, the right to work, the right to vote and the right to pursue happiness. Coupled with the Bill of Rights, what more do we need? At some point we have to use the rights we have and make our way in the world. Alot of people did finance their proverbial "frozen pizza's" by refi'ing their homes and living off equity - that led to our housing crisis.
@MeanPokerFace, i agree we have "rights" for all these things your listing. but, getting there to that point is more favored than provided as an opportunity to all in general. And those "rights" you speak about are bought by the wealthy now. you may own the house, but what about the land it's on?. this is how they convince people to follow what "they want" for us. There needs to be a strong discourse about how this country is really run. that's my only real beef with our U.S. Government.
@92680BOYD Thats all kind of vague to me. Who is buying rights? We were born with them as Americans - if someone took it away from you, then there are ways to fight that. Start with the ACLU. The only thing that keeps me from owning my house and my land is if I do not pay taxes - then the government takes it from me.
The real Tyranny is in Taxing. Ask those who fought the American Revolution.
@MeanPokerFace, taxation is just a form of control that the wealthy created as an idea to run a society the way they wish it to be.
and the real culprits treat the world as their personal "product" and they dice it up in so many ways for us to depend on, without a fighting chance of countering it with reason or a better solution.
to me, that's what the OWS is trying to start. it's more than just a protest.
@92680BOYD If the Occupiers held signs that said "Down with Taxes", then their ideas would be more clearly stated. But I don't hear that from them. Why don't they embrace Flat tax or Consumption tax ideas? Protest the Tax Loopholes and Shelters that Corps and Ultra-Rich use to pay a lower rate than the rest of us?
I heard a saying once - if you take all the wealth of the world and distribute it evenly, it will eventually end up back in the same pockets.
@MeanPokerFace, if you feel that's a problem that is seriously bringing down our country as a whole, then speak up about it. that's the problem with other people, they know sh*t is messed up and go along with it, until it directly effects them. Then, only then, will they speak out because they have no other option.
i hear what your saying though about taking back wealth too.
@92680BOYD I do speak up(not at McPhereson Square in DC), but most importantly I vote this way. Campaign Reform was an issue I actively supported but my guy didn't get elected. Now I am hoping the Tax Reform platform can get some legs. Sometimes the cart goes before the horse in our system... Now if a candidate can combine Campaign and Tax reform, I'd be happy as hell, but he'd probably get defeated unless he had a perfect storm behind him.
@TheTrieye My brithday.. I am quite offended everyone believes some catastrophic event will happen then; what fun is that? Why speculate & dwell on it? Just live life to its fullest, and when the day of death comes.. let it. Death is but another journey into the unkown, and the unkown is what us humans are most afraid of. Drop the fear.
@Scytherene122190 That about the most dismissive and stupid comment I've seen posted yet. Just bury your head in the sand and die right? You can do that.
@Scytherene122190 If you're such a "Death Lover" then why don't you jump off a bridge or light yourself on fire and commence with your "journey into the unknown". You probably posted this stupid shit from your Blackberry at Whataburger while waiting for your double cheese burger, milk shake, and asked the drive thru attendant to supersize your order, all the while preaching to others about how we should be at one with Death. I bet you're single aren't you?
@reb618 Wow.. what crawled up your ass and died? All I typed was that us humans shouldn't be so AFRAID of death. There was nothing in my post that said we should just lay down & die. Or hope dearly for death either; just accept it as death is inevitable, as in some worlwide cataclysmic event we have no reason to believe we can survive over. Could be a situation within our lifetime, but many people dwell on this with paranoia, anxiety.. anger. It's become quite topic among fear mongerers.
@reb618 Also, I was in my local library using their computers for extensive research. I do not eat fast food. Actually, I eat mostly organic & kosher food when I can, but not all the time. You're generalizing way too much, being a very judgemental person. I am single. Even if YOU aren't single, you must be unhappy; maybe even depressed with your common, menial existence; you must be filling your void trying to mock me.. on the internet. That's my generlized judgement of you.
@billyloco God why is there always someone who responds to stuff like this with 'plz plz evree1 vote ron paul b4 it 2 l8'. Jesus christ, Ron Paul is just one man. He doesn't deserve such hero worship. Oh but Ron Paul is against the wars. However, that's only because war is expensive and he's an extreme isolationist. Oh but he cares about civil liberties. No he doesn't. If he did, he wouldn't be in favour of an outright ban of abortion - including rape victims.
@EclecticSceptic I guess Ron Paul is not your choice for President? He never said he was completely against abortion, only that some abortions are unethical as he as a doctor had witnessed late abortions resulting in an aborted still living baby left to die in the hospital trash. He simply said that babies in the wolm should not be aborted if they are a cetain age. Do some research before dismissing Ron Paul supporters, you may just like what you find.
@hatton1985 He supports 'DADT' calling it 'a decent policy' and saying 'if there is homosexual behavior in the military that is disruptive, it should be dealt with.'. He also said 'climate change is not a "major problem threatening civilization"' and does not favour government action to prevent it. He believes 'life begins at conception' and although he is careful to cloud his statements about abortion by continuously referring to states' ability to decide, he wants it to be banned.
@EclecticSceptic Do you have a link with Ron discussing Homosexual behaviour in the military? Ive never heard him take such a stance. Also climate change in my opinion is a corporate swindle! Co2 is not driving climate change as suggested but rather the opposite. Temperature increase leads to higher Co2 levels. The Sun is the driving force and its Solar activity is almost at its peek. But my question to you is. Can you name a better candidate than Ron Paul?
@hatton1985 You are ignorant of climate science and have been convinced into thinking that climate change is a conspiracy by scientists. I understand that arguments against climate change can seem convincing, but they are all scientifically bankrupt. Saying that climate change is a corporate swindle is odd because it is precisely the big corporate powers who will lose out from addressing climate change - people like the Koch brothers.
@hatton1985 Can I name a better candidate? Well, I know a fair bit about American politics, but I'm not totally knowledgable because I'm from Ireland. However, I wouldn't back any of the mainstream candidates because they are all either backed by the same capitalist interests or have harsh, egoistical policies I don't agree with. I'd vote for a leader from the true left, so maybe the Socialist Alternative or something of the like.
@hatton1985 Can I give a link? Yes, but there's no point seeing as he changed his stance on DADT. The thing is he doesn't like homosexuals because he is a hardcore christian. Speaking of, what do you think about him not believing that biological evolution is a fact? It's like saying the moon doesn't exist.
@hatton1985 He doesn't believe in biological evolution either, which is ridiculous. He has some good positions which are to be admired, but he is not a hero figure. A lot of his good positions come from dubious philosophical premises from Christianity or libertarianism - with neither of which I agree.
See what happens when they approach the REAL problem target?!?!?!? K street is the source of the most horrific neofascist shit to come out of the US, ever.
u work on $ and on $ only! money lacks, the american kills, the american kills, $ comes! u r just like those cops beat u in those streets, the diference is that they don't hide their true desires and u know why??? BECAUSE THEY R PAYED AND DAMN WELL PAYED WHILE U R UNEMPLOYED AND POOR, AND THAT?S WHAT MAKES U ANGRY, YELL, DEMAND AND FIGHT UR GOV, NOT 9/11 NOT IRAQ! The terrorrist are yourselves find them, cause u know them and bring them to punishmente, OTHERWISE HERE COMES FEMA CAMPS EVERYBODY
Yet now u yell and scream for justice over MONEY, WORK, CIVIL RIGHTS??? What about those ur gov killed right before ur eyes??? Are u really not giving a shit about u r countrymen and possibly family? What about those u helped ur gov killing? Did u still yell for 9/11 or pearl harbor? Are u still on the streets for those? WILL U BE? HAVE U BEEN?
Why do you let a president kill all ur familie, ur fellow countrymen in front of all of you, Live on Tv and leave the scene intact, even after a whole nation (one of the largest in the world) knows it was all his doing
@borderraven THERE u go ppl ALSO need GUNS (to wage war against the gov) the problem is gangs and the Gov are the ones who owns them because they look alike tooo much. cops and military are against their own fellow americans and families just like nazis back then they would prefere to serve their gov than to respect and help their own ppl because there is $ in the scene and American Gov prints $ from thin air...not mentioning American culture comes almost only from $, and it's taking it's toll
@LifetreeKolob the dislikes are most probably from ppl who hate to see the poor asking and begging like beggars instead of actually fighting and calling their gov to duty
@Vercetti667 there is the point...americans don't fight they talk, and ask.
They are to civilized to fight this global robery...or should I say, since guns are not the best of options and are not freely used has they were in th wild west americans wont fight.....
Americans - No guns - No fight - No BALLS - just like Americans
Is there a law for throwing snakes on the ground? (non venomous ones) It'll buck those cops off the high horses. If there isn't then the Third Reich, i mean the Senate will make up another law against it.
@billyloco why? Has he got some hope & change for us? Don't be a cheerleader....he's just as corrupt as anyone.
Look at all the people who regret being Obama's cheerleaders.....they're practically guilty of conspiring to destroy the world.
---------------
If you've had your eyes opened up this year & are starting to see how corrupt things really are, tell billyloco to shove it up his campaign-volunteer ass with a big thumbs down.
Screw all the Wall Street Executives, the scumbag politicians in Washington, all the cops who have become part of the UN Police force. It is time for Americans to get armed and to unite. We can only hope our military sons and daughters will support us against the corrupt and greedy scum who have taken over the country. SUPPORT RON PAUL.
@thesoothsayers I suppose Ron paul is gonna wave his Magic Wand and make the real master's of america stop what they are doing? Keep dreaming my friend. There wont be any change in America even IF Ron paul got elected. He'll be another puppet just like Obama and the others before him.
@ClementineRoad Congrats you're retarded. If you weren't just puppeting what you heard someone else saying and actually knew what you were talking about you would realize that America is both a Representative Democracy and a Republic and the two terms are not mutually exclusive. But really you're just arguing pointless semantics and skirting the real issues. America has become a corporate state lately and that is the real problem. We need to get money out of politics asap.
Where is that shitting Christian terrorist Obama while these crimes against our country are being committed? Oh yeah, that dog fucking traitor in the White House WANTS these fascist cunts violently assaulting our country.
@MakesMeAngry The same place Bush would be hiding out what do you think, no president is gonna care about any of this crap, to the white house its all crap, doesnt matter what puppet is in there
My brother... you need to wake up!!! Your Country and the world is in deep shit... stop with the video games and get real.
We are facing a NWO crisis... The middle class are being deleted b/c the Criminal Banksters who can not have the control over the people of the world with their presence....
The Republican are BRAINWASHED FLUNKIES of the CRIMINAL BANKSTERS aka FEDERAL RESERVE & Central Banks of the world...
They... the FEDERAL RESERVE & CENTRAL BANKS around the world are one with Wall Street & Mega Corporations... These Criminals are Dehumanizing... & Evil...
Should you choose to maintain your IGNORANCE... & continue your childish video game playing... than at least put them on your game board...and think of ways we can bring those criminals down.
@SiNaoia You're right...You are 100% right. I'm with humanity that's why I believe in a global government. I believe with a global government we would finally have the opportunity to have peace and stability after years of conflict. Sure it might be hard forming a global government but in the end it'd be worth it. So that's why I now ask you "You're either with humanity or you're not, Which is it?" Btw if you were WITH humanity you'd support globalism.
@SiNaoia Omg just because I play video games it doesn't mean shit. And NWO, I don't know if you realized but I'm a globalist. Dude there will always be a middle class. And people at occupy wallstreet are no better than the "1%". I personally believe the occupy wallstreet protesters are the "1%". Because they seem to be the only ones who are marching through the streets demanding money. Occupy Wallstreet=Greed at its finest.
Soon these people will disapear and be sent off to undisclosed camps never to be seen or heard from again.
The camps are being readied, employees (Slave Masters) are being hired and trained as we speak. Thank you Congress for passing the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act.
Once there you will be subjected to Obama speeches 24/7.
Wonder if you get a choice of the Quran or the bible?
These fuckin communist are going to continue to lose public support if they prevent people from driving on the street. Not too smart on your part shit for brains. I'm surprised people have not just run over you by now. By the way, are you idiots on drugs? Lying in the street? Seriously? Your little cult is getting old fast. Your movement and your demands are a joke. Wake up sheep. You are just useful idiots of OWS. If you hate America so much then go live in Russia.
@36Vernon At least these people are doing something to better the country. Calling them "communists" or "America haters" behind your computer is the most you'll accomplish in your worthless life, buddy. Those protesters have actually got people talking about real issues facing the country which is a success on it's own, not to mention they've fed the homeless, something the government can't be bothered with.
@36Vernon You either have no iota of the reality of what's actually going in the world, or you just have an incredibly warped view of Reality. If you did, you would more than likely support these Peaceful protesters.
This is sad, many of these people have no clue who is in control. They are upset and can not understand who to blame. They are opening camps for these people and they have no idea until it is too late.
The Iraqis have a tighter community, have more experience with military operations (their front yard is a battleground, after all) and access to military firearms and yet they consistently lose vs. the US Army in any engagement.
Cold hearted greedy fucking puppets controlled by a enity... I'm talking about all the cops!

Looks like more people are putting there Ass on the line and going to jail for what they feel is right. The more that people in this country suffer the more the cops arrest peaceful protesters the more protesters will come to the protests. Every time they do something to shut it down it just brings more people to the cause. Its going to get worse before it gets better, we have a long way to go if we want Real Change in this country.
casinohijack 2 months ago 2
@casinohijack If they vote en masse, they will make change. If they turn more people against them by being disorganized or failing to provide a coherrent message, then it will be a net loss of votes. If they want to make real changes, they need to start making sense to the majority of Americans.
MeanPokerFace 2 months ago
@MeanPokerFace If they DONT VOTE in mass they will make even more of a CHANGE. It will show the rest of humanity that the system is not being supported and people loose confidence in this country. There are plenty of them that make sense not all of them should heck its the 99% not everyone is going to understand everything about what is going on. Some people specialize in one thing while another specialize on another. As long as there is no one that is at the head of this movement it will go far.
casinohijack 2 months ago
@casinohijack I have to respectfully disagree. Not voting is a step backwards - it's akin to making sure their voices aren't heard when it counts most. In the 2008 election, alot of republicans stayed home when alot of Democrats were motivated and came out in force. By not voting, it's a boycott of Democracy and thats the biggest way to maintain the Status Quo. Or losing the right altogether...
MeanPokerFace 2 months ago
@MeanPokerFace NO its showing that the system is not working anymore if people STOP VOTING. That does not mean that people are still not going to Vote nore that someone will get Voted into office it will just show that people are not supporting this corrupt system. Democrazy has failed its failed here in this country and its failed us trying to set it up all over the world. Republicans+Democrats= a two headed one party system which is bought and paid for by Big Business and Wall st.
casinohijack 2 months ago
@casinohijack I cannot argue with you - not because I agree but because I have no idea where your point of reference is within the confines of reality. Who argues not-voting = change? The best result I can figure out Not Voting will give us is an Emporer or a King(i.e. historically any government that forms in absense of democracy) . The worst case, the percentage of people who want free handouts vote for the guy who promise the most handouts.
MeanPokerFace 2 months ago
@MeanPokerFace I have a saying "you cant expect a unintelligent person to make a intelligent decision". The level of intelligence of a lot of people in this country is not that high, i mean in some areas yes people are Awakening. Its going to take Work to make this country what it was and that means a huge overhaul of the government as well as our money system which is just not working for humanity anymore. The World is Bankrupt, what does that mean how can a planet be Bankrupt?

@casinohijack Funny, reminds me of one of the most profound movie lines ever
"A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it. " - K

MeanPokerFace 2 months ago
@MeanPokerFace I was never easily manipulated. When someone used to give me a order to Jump i would look at them stupid and say "Why"? When my teachers would try and teach me something i would say "This is Stupid" i said that over and over and got in trouble for it at home and at school. At least i know now i was right that my parents were Stupid as well as my teachers. Always question authority always. People these days do not even understand what True Freedom is anymore.

MeanPokerFace 2 months ago
@MeanPokerFace That's a pretty crap assessment. You should try again.
EclecticSceptic 2 months ago
@EclecticSceptic Okay, how's this. Privatize 90% of the Federal Government and see how much less taxes it takes to run the country. With 40% of our tax money going straight to overhead costs and another 20% going to payroll, we could save 30% of all tax dollars by hiring the private sector wth a 30% total overhead/parole(higher than most do anyways) cap and using the money to further fund social programs and hiring these protesters at an above minimum wage rate. How 'bout it?
MeanPokerFace 2 months ago
@MeanPokerFace I agree that government administration should be made more efficient. However I think trying to achieve this by privatisation is kind of crazy because having a private government is an oxymoron. I'm an engineering student, (I live in Ireland by the way) and I want to send a team of engineers and accountants into the civil service to make it efficient. Engineers because they can analyse systems and optimise performance. I don't think you need to privatise.
EclecticSceptic 2 months ago
@EclecticSceptic I have to confess, I am anti-bureaucracy. As an engineer, you are probably familiar with the concepts industrial engineers use to make manufacturing more "lean" and efficient. Lean, by the way, was pioneered by Japanese auto manufacturing, not a public entity but an industry looking to compete with American Car companies. The problem with making government mean is that there is only one way to stop a government from growing and thats budget control.
MeanPokerFace 2 months ago
@EclecticSceptic The sole purpose of the government is to provide a service, not to provide a service better, faster, cheaper than someone else. As soon as there is a bar to compete against, as in competitive activity, there is incentive to be better, faster, cheaper, leaner, etc
MeanPokerFace 2 months ago
@MeanPokerFace *I don't think you need to privatise, you just need to streamline intelligently. Monetary incentive isn't the only means of achieving performance. In fact it's quite a brutish and ineffective means.
EclecticSceptic 2 months ago
@EclecticSceptic I'm all ears. Name one incentive with documented success that could translate into streamlining a bureaucracy.
MeanPokerFace 2 months ago
@MeanPokerFace Well the first thing (not an incentive) would be to redesign the whole bureaucracy. As far as I know, the civil service was designed by civil servants - who didn't necessarily have the type efficiency skills required - as they went along, the same civil servants who might benefit from certain inefficiencies. So the civil service would have to be redesigned by people who don't work there. Communication lines would be cleverly designed, management etc.
EclecticSceptic 2 months ago
@EclecticSceptic Might be the right approach, but bureauracry is an insidious monster. Even the best organizations get bulky - until they lose customers and slim down. A redesign of the structure for a Government means causing havoc with the establishment - i.e. the internal politics, cronyisms, etc. If the leadership of an agency came up through the ranks(which is usually the case in public institutions), they are loath to shake it up because they've made deals along the way
MeanPokerFace 2 months ago
@MeanPokerFace Oh yeah that's definitely true, that sclerotic attitude is certainly an obstacle. It really highlights in the first place why restructuring is necessary. What kind of institution is completely opposed to change? That's ridiculous. I think this system of people rising up the ranks through corrupt appointment or simply being there for a long time is stupid. People should be promoted based on their ideas and efficiency.
EclecticSceptic 2 months ago
@MeanPokerFace As in, I think a problem is that there seems to be this attitude that people can just turn up to work for the government and that's good enough. I don't know if much effort is ever put into updating the stuctures. I bet there are sectors that are unnecessary, or that could be merged. And that there are big opportunities to stop files getting backed up for months, too many cooks spoiling the broth etc.
It just needs some people to say 'we're going to improve this'
EclecticSceptic 2 months ago
@EclecticSceptic Cooks spoiling the broth is a good analogy. With the nature of Gov work, noone wants to sign off on decisions, so an army of paperpushers is created to dilute the accountability - thus the stacking of management, diluting responsibility and discouraging change agents and new ideas. Because Government is not measured by profitability, the cycle continues and before long you have 50 people managing 10. Add Competition and a quantifiable measure of performance.
MeanPokerFace 2 months ago
@MeanPokerFace Yeah as in we both have the same concerns, just I think we'd take different approaches. I'd always try to improve it without privatising or adding a monetary incentive first.

BristolPalinsBabyDad 2 months ago
@BristolPalinsBabyDad I'd support that idea. For me, it starts with Campaign Finance Reform. Whoever gives the most money to Politicians get the most access once they are elected. But the nature of consolidated power leads to corruption, so perhaps we need Campaign Reform and quadruple the number of Representatives and Senators - or better yet, all Legislation is voted directly through public ballot initiative.

@catgoddess11 Can't disagree with you on the jobs issue. I tried to buy only gifts that were "Made in USA", but could'nt find much out there. Finally settled for not "Made in China". @MeanPokerFace I commented on your channel page, it took it there. There was another post I made here, but I don't see it so that must not have worked either. But what I said was that most bikes are made in China, but Trek and Scott still make some here. They are very high end bikes though. New Balance shoes are made here, and some Newton's (athletic shoes) Some of the appliance co. listed on the link I sent make some of them here, but not necessarily all so you have to check.
catgoddess11 2 months ago
Edenpure makes an infrared heater, made in Ohio. Bunn coffeemakers used to be made here, I would check again to see if still true. Viking, Bosch, DCS, and Wolf make microwaves here. Point is, you have to be willing to do the research and you can find USA made.
catgoddess11 2 months ago
@catgoddess11 I'll check it out, thanks. I wear NB running shoes, but never seen any US made(I always check with shoes). I looked at Trek, Scott, Cannondales, Rocky Mountain, etc and the ones in the stores were China or Taiwan. I'll do the research and see where I can find the US made ones. Probably top of the line but likely worth ther extra bucks. I just busted my second frame made in China, though this last one took some serious abuse before busting the derailer hanger

MeanPokerFace 2 months ago
@MeanPokerFace if only it were that simple. To move to another country I have to have proof of a certain amount of income, or have a job with a company in that country who will vouch that I do in fact work for them. And I will elaborate better on my position, the country(America) is fine, its the corrupt government we have that I hate. The one that is the lapdog of the financial institutions, Big Oil, Big AG, Big Pharma, etc. The one that is suppressing its own peaceful citizens
catgoddess11 2 months ago
@catgoddess11 Thus, Mexico is the best option : ) Just kidding. I hear what you are saying, but it runs deeper than a corrupt government behld by corporations. They are beheld by 'special interests' in general - ACLU, AFL-CIO, teachers unions, religious PACS, etc. in addition to large companies.
MeanPokerFace 2 months ago
@catgoddess11 Let's not also forget that, at the end of the day, elections are expensive and politicians have to sell out for contributions. In the last election, who vowed to use public funds and then backed out when he sold out Wall Street? And who fought for campaign reform and lost because he was out-spent? Let the Occupiers speak clearly and protest privately funded campaigns. Thats the real path to change. Once that happens, an honest American can run and win.

reb618 2 months ago
@reb618, "welfare", "student loans", "house and car loans", "donations", etc are at the end of the day all "hand outs".
the middle class gets more hand outs in loans alone then people on welfare. so, were all partly to blame for the financial crisis in some way shape or form. no one in this country (me and you included) wasn't born with loads of money. we all need some kind of "aid" to get ahead.
presidency has little to nothing to do with it. it's broken beyond repair.
92680BOYD 2 months ago
@92680BOYD I've taken out loans for 2 cars and 2 houses and paid them all back with interest. I have good credit, I earn a paycheck and have earned money from my investments, all possible by borrowing at a fair rate. How is that a handout?
MeanPokerFace 2 months ago
@MeanPokerFace, it's the simple fact that nobody can afford anything period. they make everything literally impossible to afford today. of course, the only people who don't really need to take out loans are the wealthy. and honestly, would you take out a loan for a frozen pizza?. no. because you have the money for it. and your speaking for yourself, you did well and more power to you, but not everyone can rely on investments. bottom line, things have to eventually change.
92680BOYD 2 months ago
@92680BOYD Think about this: we have the right to own property, the right to work, the right to vote and the right to pursue happiness. Coupled with the Bill of Rights, what more do we need? At some point we have to use the rights we have and make our way in the world. Alot of people did finance their proverbial "frozen pizza's" by refi'ing their homes and living off equity - that led to our housing crisis.
MeanPokerFace 2 months ago
@MeanPokerFace, i agree we have "rights" for all these things your listing. but, getting there to that point is more favored than provided as an opportunity to all in general. And those "rights" you speak about are bought by the wealthy now. you may own the house, but what about the land it's on?. this is how they convince people to follow what "they want" for us. There needs to be a strong discourse about how this country is really run. that's my only real beef with our U.S. Government.
92680BOYD 2 months ago
@92680BOYD Thats all kind of vague to me. Who is buying rights? We were born with them as Americans - if someone took it away from you, then there are ways to fight that. Start with the ACLU. The only thing that keeps me from owning my house and my land is if I do not pay taxes - then the government takes it from me.
The real Tyranny is in Taxing. Ask those who fought the American Revolution.
MeanPokerFace 2 months ago
@MeanPokerFace, taxation is just a form of control that the wealthy created as an idea to run a society the way they wish it to be.
and the real culprits treat the world as their personal "product" and they dice it up in so many ways for us to depend on, without a fighting chance of countering it with reason or a better solution.
to me, that's what the OWS is trying to start. it's more than just a protest.
92680BOYD 2 months ago

92680BOYD 2 months ago

Scytherene122190 2 months ago
@Scytherene122190 That about the most dismissive and stupid comment I've seen posted yet. Just bury your head in the sand and die right? You can do that.
reb618 2 months ago
@reb618 Didn't want to reply back? I guess I was right. Ha! And you called me dismissive..
Scytherene122190 2 months ago
@Scytherene122190 If you're such a "Death Lover" then why don't you jump off a bridge or light yourself on fire and commence with your "journey into the unknown". You probably posted this stupid shit from your Blackberry at Whataburger while waiting for your double cheese burger, milk shake, and asked the drive thru attendant to supersize your order, all the while preaching to others about how we should be at one with Death. I bet you're single aren't you?
reb618 2 months ago
@reb618 Wow.. what crawled up your ass and died? All I typed was that us humans shouldn't be so AFRAID of death. There was nothing in my post that said we should just lay down & die. Or hope dearly for death either; just accept it as death is inevitable, as in some worlwide cataclysmic event we have no reason to believe we can survive over. Could be a situation within our lifetime, but many people dwell on this with paranoia, anxiety.. anger. It's become quite topic among fear mongerers.
Scytherene122190 2 months ago
@reb618 Also, I was in my local library using their computers for extensive research. I do not eat fast food. Actually, I eat mostly organic & kosher food when I can, but not all the time. You're generalizing way too much, being a very judgemental person. I am single. Even if YOU aren't single, you must be unhappy; maybe even depressed with your common, menial existence; you must be filling your void trying to mock me.. on the internet. That's my generlized judgement of you.
Scytherene122190 2 months ago
@billyloco God why is there always someone who responds to stuff like this with 'plz plz evree1 vote ron paul b4 it 2 l8'. Jesus christ, Ron Paul is just one man. He doesn't deserve such hero worship. Oh but Ron Paul is against the wars. However, that's only because war is expensive and he's an extreme isolationist. Oh but he cares about civil liberties. No he doesn't. If he did, he wouldn't be in favour of an outright ban of abortion - including rape victims.
EclecticSceptic 2 months ago
@EclecticSceptic I guess Ron Paul is not your choice for President? He never said he was completely against abortion, only that some abortions are unethical as he as a doctor had witnessed late abortions resulting in an aborted still living baby left to die in the hospital trash. He simply said that babies in the wolm should not be aborted if they are a cetain age. Do some research before dismissing Ron Paul supporters, you may just like what you find.
hatton1985 2 months ago
@hatton1985 He supports 'DADT' calling it 'a decent policy' and saying 'if there is homosexual behavior in the military that is disruptive, it should be dealt with.'. He also said 'climate change is not a "major problem threatening civilization"' and does not favour government action to prevent it. He believes 'life begins at conception' and although he is careful to cloud his statements about abortion by continuously referring to states' ability to decide, he wants it to be banned.
EclecticSceptic 2 months ago
@EclecticSceptic Do you have a link with Ron discussing Homosexual behaviour in the military? Ive never heard him take such a stance. Also climate change in my opinion is a corporate swindle! Co2 is not driving climate change as suggested but rather the opposite. Temperature increase leads to higher Co2 levels. The Sun is the driving force and its Solar activity is almost at its peek. But my question to you is. Can you name a better candidate than Ron Paul?
hatton1985 2 months ago
@hatton1985 You are ignorant of climate science and have been convinced into thinking that climate change is a conspiracy by scientists. I understand that arguments against climate change can seem convincing, but they are all scientifically bankrupt. Saying that climate change is a corporate swindle is odd because it is precisely the big corporate powers who will lose out from addressing climate change - people like the Koch brothers.
EclecticSceptic 2 months ago
@hatton1985 Can I name a better candidate? Well, I know a fair bit about American politics, but I'm not totally knowledgable because I'm from Ireland. However, I wouldn't back any of the mainstream candidates because they are all either backed by the same capitalist interests or have harsh, egoistical policies I don't agree with. I'd vote for a leader from the true left, so maybe the Socialist Alternative or something of the like.
EclecticSceptic 2 months ago
@hatton1985 Can I give a link? Yes, but there's no point seeing as he changed his stance on DADT. The thing is he doesn't like homosexuals because he is a hardcore christian. Speaking of, what do you think about him not believing that biological evolution is a fact? It's like saying the moon doesn't exist.
EclecticSceptic 2 months ago
@hatton1985 He doesn't believe in biological evolution either, which is ridiculous. He has some good positions which are to be admired, but he is not a hero figure. A lot of his good positions come from dubious philosophical premises from Christianity or libertarianism - with neither of which I agree.

SiNaoia 2 months ago
@SiNaoia You're right...You are 100% right. I'm with humanity that's why I believe in a global government. I believe with a global government we would finally have the opportunity to have peace and stability after years of conflict. Sure it might be hard forming a global government but in the end it'd be worth it. So that's why I now ask you "You're either with humanity or you're not, Which is it?" Btw if you were WITH humanity you'd support globalism.
BrokenSp00n 2 months ago
@SiNaoia Omg just because I play video games it doesn't mean shit. And NWO, I don't know if you realized but I'm a globalist. Dude there will always be a middle class. And people at occupy wallstreet are no better than the "1%". I personally believe the occupy wallstreet protesters are the "1%". Because they seem to be the only ones who are marching through the streets demanding money. Occupy Wallstreet=Greed at its finest.

If you fight the US with guns, you will lose.
The Iraqis have a tighter community, have more experience with military operations (their front yard is a battleground, after all) and access to military firearms and yet they consistently lose vs. the US Army in any engagement.
