@cheeseylemons ...People need to stop thinking of Lana now, the show has moved on quite quickly from her, it's been focused on Lois and Clark for the whole of season 9 now - like it should be, the producers are trying to steer away from old flames such as Lana or anything really which isnt worth being brought up - they're trying to make season 10 almost 'open things up' to what Clark Kent will become, and creatin the symbolic image of Superman. The end of this series should take place in 2013, not in 2011, because Clark's and Lex's future will never cross. Clark's future is seened in Salvation, while Lex's future is seened in Hourglass, so if they gonna end in 2011, they gonna blew up everything. That's the way Smallville should ended. In 2011-2012 they could bring another supervillain as a main boss for the show, and series finale should be with Lex as a main villain and final opponent (Absolute Justice).

Not trying to be a dick, but just clarifying. On Krypton, the soldiers did wear black suites with their family shield on the front. Clark however, is just wearing an outfit he put together. He put his shield, "the S", on it himself. The S actually his house shield. It represents the house of EL. Hope that helps. :)

There's a heavy flaw in this episode, there was no point in making an ending where Zod stabs Clark if it would end up with him ascending either way. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan but was a little disappointed in the finale.

This was explained at the beginning of the season, Jor-El said that the reason Clark cant fly is because he still thinks he is human since he grew up like one. Zod can fly because he was raised as a Kryptonian so he knows all his abilities and how to use them.

Thats just how it is, Clark can fly its just that in his head he thinks he cant because hes thinking from a human point of view. I remember in one season when Clark was getting those 3 power crystals under the "Kal-El" personality he was flying to get one of the crystals out of Lex's jet. Zod was raised on Krypton so he is aware of what his fellow people can do with abilities, something Clark has to find out later in is life step by step.

Don't worry, Clark's last minute resourcefulness combined with Zod's Arrogant Stupidity makes the scene perfect. Clark forces the stabbing to himself while Zod thinks He's done something Special doesn't realize what an IDIOT he is until it's too late.

Hawkman obviously can save him from falling but he won't be able to pull the blue kryptonite dagger out of Clark without clark getting transporter away by the book of Rau. so Clark would die anyway because of the dagger and not having his powers to heal him.

Lana's green kryptonite and the blue Kryptonite will cancel each other out and allow Clark to heal and safely remove the dagger
