:-)
Valeu pelo vídeo, resgatou maravilhosas lembranças!
@LufthansaA343 Yes you are right, but there is still the idea of it. Leaving hands on throttle during take of run allows a quick reaction in case of the necessity of stopping.
But I do not know in what way this could be of help during climb-out!?
Maybe for a straight-in emergency landing when sufficient runway is still available? Can you tell me? Are you a pilot? And yes, I do know what V1 means, although I am not a pilot.
@EternityOpens776 you are right. There is pretty much no point of keeping your hand on the throttle during climb. When I fly for private reasons I often leave my hand on the throttle in case of fast emergency landings if there is enough RWY left. So just what you said. But there is no procedure that tells you to do it.
Yes i am a Pilot for Luftthansa and i fly the A320 family.
@ElRhinoProductions just a big stress do not put all of that money onto your club account. It's happend to many time's and then the school will take voluntary liquidation. I've finished my PPL in shropshire in the UK. Enjoy your training if you have any questions about anything, send me a message. Just remeber : There are more cowboys in aviation then a John wayne Movie. Regards Joe.
because its a short field takeoff. As long as they stay in ground effect until they gain more speed they are fine. Plus the stall horn goes off 3 knots before stall speed. Sooo uhhh yeah
@flanksteak1 that happens quite often. Mostly when you're departing from non tarmac runway and trying to keep front wheel up from the ground. Then even if the wind will get slightly lighter the stall warning will be on. But you get about 5 to 10 kts to get a real stall.
FuturePilot- I think it's great that you're starting so early-I wish in did it when I was younger-I had a chance to do it around 20 years old and didn;t pursue it-making up for lost time. You'll be ready to go at 16. Have fun!
I finally bought the Cessna 182T w/ Garmin G-1000 in Feb 09. Yeah! Looks just like the plane in this video. I'm loving it and using it for my Private and then, to Instrument. It's been a pretty easy transition from the C172SP I was renting. I had to get 20 hrs dual for the insurance and solo again in this-due to the high Performance rating.
Oh that's cool! I'm 13 and so far I have 2 flight hours. I've flown a Cessna 150-152 and th Cessna Skyhawk 172 w/ G1000 I hope to log my 3rd flight hour in the Cessna 182 G1000!!!!
nice landing. a little off centerline but nice and smooth.

Why should one leave his hand on throttle when exceeding V1? Does not make sense to me.

@EternityOpens776 there is pretty much no V1 on a cessna. Do you know what V1 is?

@flanksteak1 -_- It was a soft field take off! he had to rotate as soon as posible and then remain in ground effect to build some speed

The co-pilot seems a bit nervous with the white knuckle grip on the dash! Looked like good flying and landing to me.
