2012 is a shitty movie I agree, however it is a real occurring phenomena with extraterrestrial disclosure being the most important event in Earth's history.

District 9 looks cool but I doubt that a highly technologically advanced species would live in poverty.

Babmer what are you talking about the plot seems great its a break off from the cliche that aliens will attack and destroy humanity, they have set the movie up for a great plot twist and the fact that they are using fresh actors as opposed to putting stale celebraties in the movie makes it all an experience no other movie could posibly provide. There seems to be a love interest and a main character who you can sympothise with, it looks awesome!
