  • Can these new thin screen LED's be mounted to the wall using the older wall mounts like I have my Samsung 46" LCD TV mounted on? I want to replace one with the other and hope i don't need a new wall mount.

  • @gtc1961 Yes, the newer, thinner televisions are still using standardized bolt hole patterns to be compatible with many of the same brackets. Will the new TV be compatible with your old bracket? Potentially. We’ll need the model number and manufacturer of the bracket and television to be certain. Feel free to call for additional assistance: 800.315.0030—Crutchfield

  • Hello. Last doubt about 120hz, the inputs like tv or dvds says on screen 60hz, is it limited to the imput like tv shows and dvds? I know that blu-rays and consoles it says on the screen 120 hz. Thanks

  • Is there some contraditory opinions about the 60hz and the 120hz, some people say there is a comercial and markting thing, Is there for real that tecnology?

  • @RuiCarinhoso

Check out our video explaining all that, it's called "120Hz and 240Hz Refresh Rates."

    Thanks,

  • @RuiCarinhoso It is not a marketing scheme at all. It makes things MUCH smoother and has higher Framerates.

  • Hi

    Can you please help me.

I have the same TV as yours.

When I switch off the 200hz Motion Plus it automatically turns back on after about 30 minutes.

I wish to switch off the 200hz Motion Plus because I get a better picture but it switches back on after 30 minutes.

I would be grateful for your reply.

  • Julie's cute!

Anyway, I saw the Samsung 8000 @ Best Buy recently playing the 2D version of Avatar and even in 2D it looks awesome, especially on the Samsung. Deep, rich blacks & brilliant color! Absolutely beautiful picture quality!

  • @ontheroof99 Actually all that crap I said under this comment is true, don't know exactly where from...maybe cnet, something like that. I read a lot of review and review videos on youtube from legit gadget review companies, before I make a product or an electronic purchase.

  • @ontheroof99 Yea but LED is the best of both world's trust me I have the UNB8000 Series, same bright whites and deeper blacks than a Plasma, and wastes 40% less energy than a LCD TV.

  • How come there isn't any review of UN26C4000 =/ it's the same as this but nobody haven't even made a review of it, I already gotten it like an month ago but I still want to see reviews on it

  • There's a couple reasons. First, there's 68 Samsung TVs available right now, just at Crutchfield. So, it'll be a while before you can find reviews on all of them.

Also, most of these TVs have only been available for a couple months.

We've had one customer come back to Crutchfield and write a review of your specific model. Go to the Crutchfield website and search for UN26C4000 to find it. You can even submit one yourself.

  • @LinklineRS because its 26 inches lmao i just bought a un46c6300 there is no review on here for that either but they are all pretty much the same thing but no one wants to see a review on a 26" tv they want to see the 40", 46" or 55" but they also dont want to put up a review on every model because there would be like 30 videos and thats not cheap so they really only do the best of the line like maybe un46c9000 wich is 3D

  • Bought the Samsung LED 3D 8000 series a few days ago with a 8 million to 1 contrast ratio. Amazing TV!

  • @makamalu Not happy in the way technology is heading towards which was 3D. 8,000,000:1 Contrast Ratios are really unecessary since the highest contrast ratio Blu-Ray movies and Blu-Ray players do is 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Blu-Ray being the best thing for picture quality. My Samsung LED UNB8000 Series does 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio which was also unecessary, just get the entry level TV if you want the best picture quality possible,if you don't want any smudges and blur get the 240Hz UNB8000.

  • Damm it just bought a 6000 ! Can I upgrade the internet feature? It would be great If I could !

  • @vivaquitocarajo

You can get VERY limited internet content with the 6000 series model Samsung TVs, but you'd be better off getting a Blu-ray player that can do Netflix, You Tube, and more. That's become standard on Blu-ray players now, and certainly cheaper than getting a new TV. Although we can help with that as well:)

  • stupendous...lol

  • that TV doesnt have LED backlighting... it has LED edge lighting... which sucks

  • @mattiaseinarsson Actually I saw the best LED backlighting TV of 2009 which is the Samsung LED UNB8500 Series and compared it side by side to the edge lighting Samsung UNB8000 Series which I have, difference was that the 8500 has 7,000,000:1 contrast ratio and the 8000 has 5,000,000:1. 8000 had brighter whites, and could almost make the same deep blacks as the 8500.

  • Does LED have better PQ than plasma? For example, is the Samsung 8000 LED better than their B850 plasma?

  • Got the 8000 series back in December. You'll love this tv. couldn't do the extra $600 for the 8500.

  • This L.E.D HDTV looks really good. Im planing to buy the Samsung L.E.D 8500 Series. Thank's for the update.

  • yes it does

    thank you

  • also, what tv would u recomend

    the edge or full?

  • Well, the full LED backlight is clearly superior, but it's outside the range of a lot of people's budget, so we can't recommend it to everyone. But if all could afford it, it would be a go-to choice.

    I hope that helps,

  • alright, thank you

  • im talking about the unb 7000 model

  • JeRsey,

The 6000, 7000, and 8000 Samsungs use LED edge backlighting. You can get the Samsung UN55B8500 with LED backlight with local dimming.

The LED edge backlighting improves contrast ratio and colors, especially black, green and red.

The full backlight improves the contrast ratio even more.

All the info you could possibly want on these and many other TVs available at Crutchfield.

    Thanks for watching.

  • she is hott

  • Is this a review done by 2 Amish folk or what?

  • I am buying a Samsung UN55B6000 in two days!! I got a pair of Polk LSI 7's and a Polk DSW PRO 600 sub waiting for it!!

  • so theres still burring in the lower end models is what you are saying? thanks, think im still gana buy a plamsa.

  • I also think the contrast ratios are different across the series, not sure this was brought up but maybe I missed it. 8000 are 5,000,000:1.

  • sorry its 32UB7000 not a big different..

  • Just get my UB327000 This shit is amazing !! And 1080p games looks so good!Great picture quality and contrast !Worth money! I just don't know why i've got white light not red ,under the screen! is this light is different on each 7000 's series??

  • I have a 55 inch unb6000 its a great hdtv

  • These TVs are truly next gen.

Just wondering how TVs will be even better ...

Maybe a higher resolution, but what else?

    Thanks for this video. =)

  • oled

  • @Kleina15

The next big improvement is going to be the OLED technology.

  • Why is everyone crying about the differance between Edge lit & rear array lit LED. They are both nice sets. Each have strengths and weakness.

  • Hi,

I'm interested in one of the 6000 series T.V's but was hoping you could tell me what the picture is like from a 45 degree viewing angle as the room that it will be situated in dictates this.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Good one, They did not include a viewing angle specification in the manual for these TVs. We have however seen multiple reviews from reputable sources that indicate the Samsung TV looks really great on axis, but loses something when you get off angle. They were not specific regarding the angle at which the picture becomes noticeably worse.

You may want to check these out in stores before coming back to Crutchfield to make your purchase.

    Hope that helps,

    CrutchfieldTV

    800 555 9408

  • I have a 6000 40" LED and the viewing angle is far greater than LCD or Plasma. And YES it is LED not LCD !!!

  • its LED back lit not an led screen

  • @barrycallebaut the picture looks good at all angles it only loses a lil of the black at 45 degree angles but still looks good i have a 40'' the movie avatar looks alsome on it on blue ray

  • Just to check the 6000 is LED because I sure she said it was a LCD.

  • Good point, golf123!

These are LCD TVs with LED backlighting. Samsung (and other TV makers who use LED backlighting) will frequently say 'LED TVs" as a kind of shorthand, but technically these Samsungs are LCD TVs.

    Hope that helps!

    Julie at CrutchfieldTV

  • golf123morgan,

This TV is an LCD TV with an LED backlight.

LCD TV's must have a light behind them that shines through the panel, most LCD TVs use a fluorescent light, these Samsung TVs use LED backlighting instead of fluorescent.

I hope that helps clear this up, that can be a very confusing thing too many people, so I'm glad you asked.

    Thanks,

  • Steve would flunk any lie detector test.

  • haal ik t?

  • Hey Porkonfork,

The 46" UN46B8000 is a pretty sweet TV. The LinkStick is a relatively inexpensive add-on for $79.99, and we do have them in stock along with the TV if you find yourself ready for an upgrade.

The TV is a Crutchfield Signature item, meaning you get Free delivery, lifetime tech support, and a 60 day money back guarantee.

Got any questions? We can answer them.

  • @mrseptember1983

  • "Man that really opens things up..." You know he was uncomfortable!

  • Ive heard samsung sint 'honest' when they tell their pixel response times...

  • the best review i've ever seen! you answered all info i need to know. thanks!

  • Cool...

  • Great review, helpful and informative.

    Great job.

  • Ok, these two people are informative and I have no complaints there. Great job. However, they also have an SCTV and SNL quality about them and I just can't not laugh while I watch them. They seem awkward and uncomfortable.

  • i love samsung televisions
