Yes, this window faces the direction of the satellite. The only practical way to use indoors is to put it by a window and use a Bluetooth headset. From here in California, the window must face southeast, and trees will block the signal.
I tried to get a signal from inside my window but it wouldn't work. You must be in direct site of the satellite for it to get a signal inside with your blinds closed like that? Thanks for the test.
