@timv232 You are a dumb, uneducated, boorish idiot. If you think all tamed animals you see are abused, then you might just be like on of those PETA queers who fight for animal rights but euthanize 90% of cats and dogs in their shelters. If that elephant was abused, he wouldn't be doing that. Assuming that all sideshow animals are abused just because many others are is like saying that all people are idiots just because some, like you, are.
I think it's amazing what the elephant decides to paint... I don't think the trainer can communicate to the elephant "I want you to paint three trees" !
When I initially saw this I was like,"bitch, please. Elephants can't paint!", but secretly, I was thought,"He's better than me.....So much better...!"
i can't believe that no-one so far noticed the hand of the trainer pushing the elephant's trunk..... 0.46 and it's all clear....it's an absolute fake, elephants are smart animals but they can't conceive the ability to paint just like small children can't
@jimmyhommie you think a trainer can guide that huge trunks tip but holding the base? that would be like trying to pain with an 80 lb bar of soap with a brush at the end.
@AurynThePaladin Thats stupid, thats like saying a gymnast can do a backflip and I cant so its fake? uh...NOT the same elephant!!! And do some research, elephant has the best memory out of all animal, its been watching his/her owners draw thats why its so good.
@URUproduction Actually I was joking about the mythbusters thing. However, yes, elephants can be trained to paint... to a degree. The precision in this video, and many others is the result of the trainer guiding the trunk and the elephant simply gripping the brush. Look at the more complicated paintings, they are all done this way, of course they avoid panning out where possible to create the belief the elephant is doing it completely alone.

This would be amazing if it wasn't for the fact the animal was likely abused into performing this act.
