Everyone asks why the lightsabers in this game don't cut anything. The answer is simple. Yoda, the Apprentice, and Darth Vader lost their lightsabers and they got new ones on loan from Xemnas, which we all know that Xemnas sabers can't cut anything.

All I'll say is that it's pretty legit for the star wars universe... but in comparison to the fighters in Soul Calibur, you're right, it does look kind of stupid.

wow this algol sucks a good way 2 play as em is 2 set up alot of bubbles and close in that way there locked down and be at your mercy the only thing that hinders algol is his slow side step
think about it algols pretty slow when it comes 2 mobility thats why he has the bubbles and the flips to close the gap and go wild algols really powerful but its his mobility that hinders him if you dont close the gap then either your getting lucky or your not good at all

Shows how little you know about Soul Calibur. You can beat any character with any other character. It's about skill, not the character you're using, nooblet. Noobs use Kilik cuz he's easy to pick up and get the feel for the game. He's much harder to truly master, like any of the characters.
how little i know? i'm level 57 in standard ranking, i KNOW what i'm talking about. for instance, kilik has an advantage over maxi, due to range. i have an advantage over taki with vader's moves. he's the only char with which i can beat a skilled taki user. but i won't have to try beating a well skilled maxi player with vader because he's just not fast enough, i wouldn't be able squeeze in an attack if maxi is played correctly.
Actually, you don't know what you're talking about. I was lvl 140, if that makes any difference, and it only seems that "Ivy, Taki, and Astaroth" are the top players because they spam things that are more difficult to block. Don't actually talk about who has an advantage over who until you study the actual frame data of the moves.
Also, if you want to use level, add in the win %.. I've played lvl 200+ people who weren't that good. They just know more lag tactics.

Ya.. lets say, someone uses Raphael, not much of brute is he, pretty damn fast tho, if u were to use Night Terror against him, Raphael's speed wouldnt really help him, and his ability to easily ring out, wouldnt be effectice because night terror cant be ringed out, but if u combine ur skill with Raphael's speed, and truly master his moves, all i have to say is that Raphael would be one hardass opponent to defeat, but overall Night Terror is probably much better than Raphael
MKvs DC when it comes to "First day and its awesome", SC4 for length. You can beat MKvsDC in like a day and you can only unlock two people, who suck anyway.

Just keep your distance and try not to attack before he does. Try to get him when he comes toward you. You might think this advice sounds stupid, but it helped a little in my case.
Look I know how you feel. I lost to him like 8 times, but finally managed to come though. Just practice and keep trying man.

I don't play with The Apprentice, so I don't know what's good or bad by his standards. I play a lot with Algol, so I can safely say that Algol sucks in this. The Apprentice keeps sidestepping and he doesn't even punish.
Yeah. Like I said, both players are pretty bad. They don't do universal things that are basic by anyone's standards, but like you said. Starkiller doesn't punish on stepped attacks. Algol uses almost none of his pressure tools. Just to name a few.
first Inferno doesen't even let you move second he copies all the other characters moves wich is defenetly old for a boss and third it has unique moves that make the game really hard to beat.
no no no. . . Abyss was by for the cheapest. .. Algol and Inferno are not even a half of the pain Abyss was. . . just play it on Ultra or Extreme hard. . . Abyss will make u cuss at ur t.v. for awhile. . :|
How is it copyright infringement? They were allowed to use the characters. Otherwise, that game wouldnt have come out and Namco and everyone involved with the game wouldve gotten sued for everything they have.

That was predictable The Apprentice is practically the best charcter unless you can perfect Algol. MAN I wish they had theater mode so i can watch these two fight on edge master difficulty.
i disagree Algol is much better than necrid, his character and voice is more similar to LuBu from dynasty warriors. I agree with biohazard the guy playing algol should've at least done one of the combos as shown in videos u see on youtube.

ok heres some info on algol he was a great king cuz of his great fightin skills the reason why he has soul edge is cuz it was a normal blade like anyother but it killed so much that it grew evil and started 2 gain power and corrupt then it tryed 2 take over algol but he was able 2 control it to his will one day his jeolous son took souledge and was controled by it so algol had no choice but 2 kill em then with a couple of shards that he purified soul calibur was born

I don't play with The Apprentice, so I don't know what's good or bad by his standards. I play a lot with Algol, so I can safely say that Algol sucks in this. The Apprentice keeps sidestepping and he doesn't even punish.

Yeah. Like I said, both players are pretty bad. They don't do universal things that are basic by anyone's standards, but like you said. Starkiller doesn't punish on stepped attacks. Algol uses almost none of his pressure tools. Just to name a few.

Algol is officialy said that is the strongest character in all SC universe and defenetly not cheap like Inferno or Night Terror.

first Inferno doesen't even let you move second he copies all the other characters moves wich is defenetly old for a boss and third it has unique moves that make the game really hard to beat.

no no no. . . Abyss was by for the cheapest. .. Algol and Inferno are not even a half of the pain Abyss was. . . just play it on Ultra or Extreme hard. . . Abyss will make u cuss at ur t.v. for awhile. . :|

Ya.I was never good with Abyss in Soul Calibur 3,so all I did was spamming and playing around with his oh-wow-powers...
He is best(and Algol as well) for for-fun-matches,but if the CPU gets Abyss or Algol(depending on a game)they are so FUCKING BEASTS WITH THEM!!!

How is it copyright infringement? They were allowed to use the characters. Otherwise, that game wouldnt have come out and Namco and everyone involved with the game wouldve gotten sued for everything they have.

That was predictable The Apprentice is practically the best charcter unless you can perfect Algol. MAN I wish they had theater mode so i can watch these two fight on edge master difficulty.

i disagree Algol is much better than necrid, his character and voice is more similar to LuBu from dynasty warriors. I agree with biohazard the guy playing algol should've at least done one of the combos as shown in videos u see on youtube.

these new characters fight alot like the older ones. i cant pinpoint exactly who, but their basic moves look exactly the same as others.

the guy playing Algol sucks. when I have to fight a real algol fighter online, the battle gets really annoying, cause algol has those unpredicteble combos.

No you have to unlock him by beating Yoda's OR Darth Vader's story mode in both versions. So, no he is just a hidden character.

ok heres some info on algol he was a great king cuz of his great fightin skills the reason why he has soul edge is cuz it was a normal blade like anyother but it killed so much that it grew evil and started 2 gain power and corrupt then it tryed 2 take over algol but he was able 2 control it to his will one day his jeolous son took souledge and was controled by it so algol had no choice but 2 kill em then with a couple of shards that he purified soul calibur was born
