  • I'm Welsh, but damn i wish i lived in New Zealand!

  • Let's see the Greeks do the Austerity Haka as they give bondholders a 53.5% haircut.

  • i get da shivers up my spine everytime i watch a good haka, mean haha

  • dislike must be from the aussies

  • @DarkAllBLACKZ Why would us Aussies dislike the haka? it's the fucking sickest thing ever man!! It's not as if our natives have much pride either.

  • @dBLINDb not the haka us kiwi becuz they lost RWC

  • @DarkAllBLACKZ aaah... haha well that's always annoying, but personally i'm fine as long as the poms or the french don't win

  • NEW ZEALAND WHAKA YEAH!!!

  • good to see the tradition keep it up lads

  • biggaza...midnight oil had it right, the land of the rainbow serpant belongs to the Aboriginese.....now give it back yah bludy excons ha,ha,ha,ha!!!

  • I love to see this ritual, it is the extraordinary thing I've ever seen, and I'm from Germany :D

  • yeeyaah. im samoan but live in aotearoa. we are a fxcking awesome country

  • surprised them racist ex convicts didn't bring in the death squades.

  • @lopaaione U cant spell and we aint racist u r

  • NOW LETS PACK EM ALL ON A FLIGHT OUTTA HERE!!!

  • A Flashdance is supposed to be spontaneous, The crowd were lined up waiting for the word go. the old bloke with the grey hair in the bottom right hand corner was video way before the start. There are so many flash dances of the haka on utube performed at evry opportunity. Leave it in NZ Makes the men look ugly anyway

  • lol cuzzies abit out of time none the less legend

  • Do not. Fuck with Nz.

    Do not fuck with us.

  • Why dont you guys do this in NZ, we could do with this in Christchurch everyday. never see it here except for Rugby matches.

  • @hlife39 exactly. Australia is no place for the haka. They don't want it anyway

  • @hlife39 coz you's are all here

  • Makes me damned proud to be a Kiwi!

  • Show the HAKA to any wanna be terrorist and they will think twice about messing with New Zealand

  • @tanguman2 Someone who, driven by inflammatory language from pious/political leaders, is ready to kill, maim, and intimidate, intentional and randomly, defenseless non-combatants with the intent of instilling fear of mortal danger amidst a civilian population as a strategy designed to advance political ends or in pursuit of his mission from God!! Do you really think a dance is going to frighten a person like that? If anything your grouping will only make your murder an efficient one!!

  • so awesome to watch this - it must have been AMAZING in person! Excellent!!!!

  • Also did anyone know what culture the person recording the video is?

  • Oh yes by the way i am of maori descent too, but i supose you wouldn't of known that now would you.

  • Well i like the video, and yes i agree it wasn't a flash mob, but dont like the comments that people make on here. That just shows me that if they can be like that towards one culture, they can be like that too anyone, and to me they are the ones that do not deserve to be in this world, if you walk down the street not everyone that is white is white or everyone that is black is black, brown is brown and so forth. we all have a little bit of another culture inside, wether you like it or not.

  • maoris are the most racist people in the world

  • @paddless bro im white and i live in nz and im so annoyed at ur comment . . . shame on u. u call them the most raceist people in the world yet u say such a disgusting thing??? and also the actions of one person doesnt represnt a full cuture or group. i think ur the raceist and i hope to never meet you. and dont say "us white people" . dont speak for people who dont feel the same as u. i went to primary school with kids of all cultures and because of that i have friends of all cultures. skrew u

  • sorry but thats all im saying

  • us white people are sick of people blaming our ancesters for your problems everyone has a chance in this world to make a living stop blaming the white man i am sick of this reverse rasicm if u want white power to come back keep blaming us for your problems

  • @paddless im euuropean/ maori and you are right everyone has a chance but its not always a fair one

  • Love this and all forms of pride for ones own country...

Although as ashamed as I am about the few shit stirring Aussies (and others) disrespecting the Haka, it's sad to see how much hate the Maori people still have against the 'white man'.I know the history and realize alot of shit went down not so long ago to ancestors but don't expect respect from others when you give non. ..... Just saying....

  • @MrsAntonsen , It's not just Maori people. Basically almost every native culture worldwide does.

  • fuckn sick

  • this sure isnt a flash mob, but shot to the woman at the back, woop

  • Respect for the aboriginal guy at the start

  • The monkeys are hungry

  • @TheLemonpee fucckup

  • Ea that's not a flash mob haka that's just a haka.

  • All rude, derogative and nasty comments have been removed and any subsequent comments of this nature will also be removed. It is disgusting behavior and you's call yourselves adults.

  • @ljkennedy1 mad?

  • At the beginning it sounds like a bunch of people violently vomiting :L

  • new zealand is slowly owning australia, but why, their lands full of aborigines shit & arnt all australians slaves from britian, lols your the queens bitches, get down & lick the floor, KIWIS ARE THE REAL DEAL..!

  • @sammy123131 Last time i checked NZ is a Constitutional Monarchy and years ago NZ was part of NSW, so at one stage you where Australia's, and by the power property transition, the Kings little bitches. The slaves of Britain you refer to are the very same that settled NZ... and to top it off NZ was still licking the floor 50 years after Australia was standing on her two feet! Its easy to dismiss and disrespect another culture, its disgusting when its done to champion your own! Respect

  • @devolair1 ooooohhhh shut the fuxk up i didnt ask for an historian ue dumb fuxk so gap the fuxk up okaay get a job ue mother fuxker & stop running ur mouth cos ue dont know shxt, fuck you..! & ur family.>!

  • @sammy123131 As a matter of fact i do know shit, your reaction is testament to that fact.

It struck the nerve i was looking for.

Dont feel bad about the truth. Embrace it. Break free from the shackles of your horrible stereotype. Unemployed, wife beating, drunk and keyboard warrior perception that people have of you. Either your dyslexic or that was one sorry ass weak effort on your part in defending NZ

In my world, everyone's a pony and they all eat rainbows and poop butterflies

  • @devolair1 damn you need to stay in nz for awhile before you mouth off like that, like in my area, not all maoris are like how you think, honestly like stay in tauranga for awhile(not auckland, definitely not opotiki or te teko) get to know us, then judge us. your veiws will absolutely change. and hey you "must" be white, you dont know the pain my ancestors went through to fight those mother fucking assholes you say was our kings, your quite narrow sighted i must say.

  • New Zealands found some new land called Australia :L

  • I get chicken skin every time i watch a haka. So much Mana !

  • Hmm...dont get me wrong, every time I watch the Haka I get chills. There is a feeling that cuts to the core of some kind of...unity of purpose or unity of will. But I don't think I felt that way for this video or any of the other flash mob hakas because of that lack of purpose. Alls I get is the felling that a buch of people find that it might be fun to yell real loud and slap their foremarms haha! No denying it looks like fun though!!

  • PS It gives me goosebumps watching it :)

  • Wow I can't believe the hatred posted on here. I think it's an awesome video. And I was born in Hong Kong and live in NZ but please don't bother with any racist remarks!

  • @DefSweater you make me embarrassed to be australian.

  • I love that im maori we have such a beautiful culture:)

its a shame ppl post nasty things about us

must be jelousy from not having any culture at all a

  • all the pukana at the start, BLEH!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is probably the best way to remember september 11th ever.

  • Aussies watching this will be like fuck off back to NZ lol but nah we are here to stay. Awesome by the way.

  • @datmaoriguy I'm an aussie in nz watching this =D lol

  • 11 Australians disliked this!

  • It's nice of them to do it here =)

  • \/ what a fukn loser

  • why do the police try and stop these flash mob haka's from happening is it just in case theres a riot or something

  • Benji Marshall at 1:32

  • it so sad that theres polys thinking their culture is better.than others. remember that ur culture isnt the only one on earth..love urz nd respect others.."OUR PARENTS DIDNT RAISE US TO HATE BT TO LOVE ND RESPECT EACH CULTURE.AS IT WAS OUR OWN"POLY MOVEMENT"POLYSWAGG"

  • some of my friends are Kiwis and ive had Kiwi SAS lads serve with me big respect ...a british soldier

  • Some things are special. Kamate belongs to us all, but Pongo belongs exclusively to the ABs and no part of it should be given by anone other than the current squad.

  • meaan az ! (:

  • Now cook the man some EGGS!!!

  • I love it when the women are involved to. So much more intense! :))

  • Kapa O Pango > Ka Mate.

  • @NastyNikes it's called paying respects to the local Indigenous people on whose land the Haka was preformed on..

  • How come that video was uploaded on the 10th of september when the performance was on the 11th of september.. that does not make sense

  • Thats heaps of peps

  • This one was good, but I think the Gold Coast one was better :)

  • "11th September 2011" uploaded on "10th sept 2011"

  • @contactpidgyy It's called Jet Lag :)

  • I know it wasn't a flash mob, it was meant to be but you can see by the sheer size of the crowd that there was no hope in h@#l that they were going to be able to pull off a completely random and unexpected flash mod, especially when the news cameras and the police turned up....

  • @ljkennedy1

is that localmaori leading? and was this for the NRL grand finals or something? looks like him lol. i was proud to do the haka at home in bed while they were doing it at the stadium at the game aye.. hes a true leader! mad respect to him. i know for sure others were doing the haka at home while watching it too.

  • wow amazing unity

  • Mean mass haka cuz. MEAN MAORI MEAN!!!

  • @talkingoutyourbumow na honest as, Theres a few good ones but most of them are eggs

  • this isnt a flashmob...

  • @matttane where does it say it is??

  • This ain't a flash mob - flash mobs are random and unexpected and they were waiting for an "aborigine" to lead the haka! What is up with that? Still loved the haka afterwards though.

@GusE96 ...because the Haka originates from New Zealand not Australia?!

  • That must be the biggest mobhaka I've seen! Awesome fellaz.

  • why cant australia have a haka.

  • @GusE96 We ain't badass :( We just took over some country from people with less technology then ourselves. We suck. :'(

  • that suckd lol

  • i dont get it

  • Take my hat off to the koori nation for allowing the haka to be performed on there land

  • @Ihakakerr777

  • this isn't a flash mob this is just a haka lol...

all goods anyway :) check out the flash mob at sylvia park,

it's suppose to be unexpected and random, members of the public shouldn't know that's something is about to start.

  • bro.ive seen way to much of these so called "FLASH" haka's...these things are ment to be kept for cultural, and celebrational reasons?not public displays.this type of thing looks more like a publicity stunt...a way to get attention?bet the majority of these people dont even "SPEAK" maori!?.just attention seeking.

  • @KiwiNzz most learn Maori while in NZ in Australia they learn bloody Japanese!
