Harvey Penick, one of the greatest golf teachers ever said this; You have to develope a swing that matches your tendencies. Example; If you are pidgeon toed then your set-up should be just that. And the opposite is true if your tendency is to walk with your toes splayed(in other words like a duck). Your mind is your great allie. Penick worked with what God gave you and did not try to change it all.
It is great to see this video. I had the pleasure of watching & catching balls for moe when I was 10 through 15year old. My father was one of the good players in Ontario in the 80's, so see moe was a regular thing. I liked catching balls for moe cause i would not have to move. With dad's shots I had to move 4 yards to catch the balls. Seeing these videos again brings back good memories. As a young kid growing up, I had the pleasure of seeing Moe. and seeing greatness
When the PGA talks about the honor of the game and the integrity and values they uphold - remember while watching the commercials of the tournament sponsors, the banking / insurance industry that has ponzi schemed & denied coverage to our country that the PGA members that were around when Moe was in his prime did precious little to help or encourage him. He was also treated quite poorly at the Masters too. Even though Moe was Canadian he was unique but the PGA didn't want to be embarrased.
Moe, if you are there, I just want to say, we are Golf Soulmates...You sir have taught me more about Golf than any other!!
