Thank you so much for posting this! I'm Singaporean and the landscape of this country changes at a crazy speed. Just 5 years ago The Marina Bay district didnt exist and Clarke Quay was empty. Sg in the 80s is almost inaccessible to us except for the few preserved buildings around. I've always had an affinity for Changi- its more than an airport for me and this video is just magical

It's called aerodynamic braking. An old school technique. They keep the nose up to help with the deceleration.
