read in my local newspaper that the hadrosaurus survived 700,000 years after the kt event(sounds unbelievable to me ) but carbon dating on the fossils according to the report were confirmed has any one else heard this information?

Shantungosaurus is the the king of the duck billed dinosaurs at 10m tall and 21m in length it was huge.

Do you think most hadros were quadrupeds or bipeds? I think bipeds because when they're standing on their hind legs in pictures, it looks unnatural.

My favourites are Parasaurolophus, Edmontosaurus and Brachylophosaurus. Hadrosaurids are so peaceful and beautiful ^_^

shantungosaurus is my favorite duck billed dinosaur, it was bigger than T-rex. However they would have never faced each other since T-rex lived in North America and shantungosaurus lived in China.

I recently learned hadrosaurs evolved from the iguanodonts, which is cool because now I appreciate the similarities in appearance.

The pictures are quite generic in places - unless you've seen the original picture with its caption then it's quite hard to say what the artist was drawing. Looking at the head, seems to be some kind of crest so would discount Shantungosaurus. Maiasaura, maybe. Some kind of "gryposaur", like Spinoraptorrex suggests, seems likely.
