This verse and similar ones abrogate the earlier verses before Dar Us Salam by stating there is no compulsion. This is the view of your scholars. You can ask them yourself.

@hosna9 Also, i should point out that revile means to hate, and the hadeeth regarding apostates doesn't say you should hate them, but it does say you should kill them. Thus the verse you provided doesn't contradict the hadeeth.
As usual the laws of the Quran and Hadeeth contradict the attitudes of kindness and tolerance they encourage. They can talk about kindness and tolerance all they want, but the laws in regards to non-Muslims and apostates naturally breeds hatred.

In this Noble Verse we clearly see that Allah Almighty considers the innocent soul "sacred". He will punish those who kill the innocent souls (by throwing them in hell).

However, just so you know, most Christians would argue against you by telling you that most of the verses you quoted are from the Old Testament (Torah) not the New Testament, so they don't count anymore because they've been abrogated.

@hosna9 This is an early verse that 1) has nothing to do with apostates and execution and 2) was revealed during a time when the Prophet was weak because he did not have many followers and there was no Dar Us Salam. Once Dar Us Salam was established you'll notice the verses become harsher and apostates were put to death. This is why Muslims obviously aren't allowed to kill apostates in non-Muslim countries but are obligated to do so in Muslim lands. Just ask your scholars.

3.) Again, this verse is in relation to before Dar Us Salam was established. It is abrogated by later verses such as al-Tawbah 9:29. When Muhammad was weak he could not punish those who fought him (even in self defense) and could not kill apostates, but once he gained a following he did.

Like i said, we can't keep track of converts in general mainstream society because 1) people convert from one religion to another all the time 2) we don't require people to report when they change religion 3) we can't violate privacy.
In jail the people are monitored closely though, an they have no privacy, so we know which of them convert and which don't.

@hosna9 Also, i should point out that revile means to hate, and the hadeeth regarding apostates doesn't say you should hate them, but it does say you should kill them. Thus the verse you provided doesn't contradict the hadeeth.
As usual the laws of the Quran and Hadeeth contradict the attitudes of kindness and tolerance they encourage. They can talk about kindness and tolerance all they want, but the laws in regards to non-Muslims and apostates naturally breeds hatred.

@hosna9 This is an early verse that 1) has nothing to do with apostates and execution and 2) was revealed during a time when the Prophet was weak because he did not have many followers and there was no Dar Us Salam. Once Dar Us Salam was established you'll notice the verses become harsher and apostates were put to death. This is why Muslims obviously aren't allowed to kill apostates in non-Muslim countries but are obligated to do so in Muslim lands. Just ask your scholars.

@hosna9 1.) That's not about self-defense, it's about punishment for murder. 2.) The zina in reference here is not premarital sex, it is extra-marital sex, meaning cheating one one's partner.
3.) Again, this verse is in relation to before Dar Us Salam was established. It is abrogated by later verses such as al-Tawbah 9:29. When Muhammad was weak he could not punish those who fought him (even in self defense) and could not kill apostates, but once he gained a following he did.

@hosna9 No, what I said in my example of black people wasn't racist at all. It's simply an observable fact, but i never implied that the REASON they commit more crimes is because they are black. The reality is the reason they commit more crimes is because they are more likely to be poor, which of course is the result of the slavery and racism which existed previously. By your logic though, this would be enough reason not to give them as much freedom or equality, the same way you do with women.

@hosna9 Why do you keep repeating this verse? This verse was in relation to the people who were kicked out of their homes by the non-Muslims for embracing Islam, what does this have to do with anything?
Do you expect me to feel sorry for them, for people who whine when they are kicked out of their homes for practicing a religion but have no problem oppressing people of other religions and destroying their religious idols?

@hosna9 Yes, and even though you gave women the right to vote far before western nations did, western nations have still surged ahead of you in regards to women's rights. Why? It's because we have abandoned religion as a form of law, and thus have used logic and rationality to dictate what our laws should be, what rights people should have, and how society should be run. We are better off for it.

@hosna9 Personally i don't have a problem with polygamy if it's necessary, my problem is that you allow men to marry up to four wives without their previous wives' consent, yet you'd never consider allowing women multiple husbands, which by the way is ALSO an ancient practice.
If you argue that women with multiple husbands wouldn't be able to tell who the father is i can counter with DNA testing. You don't acknowledge that changes in the world have bridged many of the gaps between the genders.

@ColdVolcano22these days it is very rare to find a man with e few wifes ,1)he can not afford them ,just the dowry by it self is a big issue .2)there is restruction to have more than one wife .onother thing there is no marriage without the knowelege of the first wife and she has all the right to accept it or not in fact in some muslims countrys man can only marrie another wife if the first wife gives him permission for that and it has to be signd by her in the court

In fact your scholars have clearly stated that the previous wife's permission is not required at all. Just look up this question on Islam QA and see for yourself.

@ColdVolcano22 A man's single testimony is not acceptable in financial matters, since there must be two male witnesses to prove the financial right of a claimant, or one man and two women. We have never heard that anyone considered this requirement an insult to man's intelligence or contrary to his rights. This proves that the requirement is for the protection against false accusations and mistakes. There are some cases when the testimony of each is totally equal.

@hosna9 I'm sure there are many people that convert to Islam, just as I'm sure there are many people who leave it. I find it unlikely that converts are the main reason for the rapid spreading of Islam. I find it more likely that the reason there are so many Muslims is because you have incredibly high birth rates.

@hosna9 My problem is when Muslims say it's because the religion is growing due to mass conversion, as if your religion is somehow special. The fact is the only observable major contributing factor the Muslim population growth is birth rates.
I also have a problem with Muslims who come to the west seeking the benefits of our lifestyle while talking about how their way of life is superior. If you're so superior go live in shara law countries.

@hosna9 I never said all converts to Islam from the US are from jail, but most of those that we can verify are. Like i said, we can't keep track of converts in general mainstream society because 1) people convert from one religion to another all the time 2) we don't require people to report when they change religion 3) we can't violate privacy.
In jail the people are monitored closely though, an they have no privacy, so we know which of them convert and which don't.
