Nokia N95 In the Wild

Some people at this forum are comparing Iphone to n95. Can you send MMS with Iphone? Can you use GPS with Iphone? Can you record videos? Can you have your mp3 music for ringtone? The answer is NO. So witch one is better? Nokia n95 or Apple Iphone?

I'm not saing that Iphone isn't prettyer, but I will choose nokia!

i think this phone compared to many high end phones that are out now, that the n95 may not match up what some phones can do like the battery life! which doesnt last that long, but overall i think that would only be the bad thing about the phone...AS FOR THE LED FLASH ITS BRIGHTER THEN ANY OTHER LED FLASH CAMERA PHONE I VE USED....PLUS MP4 PLAYBACK AND CLARITY ON THIS PHONE IS OFF THE HOOOK LIKE HAVING A PORTABLE DVD PLAYER WITH YOU ALL THE TIME......

Sorry, in what way is this a PC? It runs Symbian not Windows Mobile. Also this far out-performs the iPhone for features

N95 is better because there is a gps reciever in it and it has a 5 megapixle camera and it records video in dvd-like quality. and its mp3 player too.and there is video/audio out so u can connect it to a tv....can u do all of that in the iphone??

Due to 1st Quarter of 2007, beginning of March, this in Europe! price will be around 500-800€! I find it a pretty good price considering the kind of phone it is! can't wait to put my hands on one of these...

The N95 will cost 550 Euros, about $800 Canadian, or $700 U.S. It will not be available for purchase in north america, though Nokia U.S.A said they would come out with something similar later on in 2007. If u did bring it to N.A from abroad, the High Speed Internet wouldn't be available to you right now because no major N.A carrier has integrated the new connection.

if the 8800 sirocco costs at least £150-£200 on mid to high range tariffs i'd expect the N95 to retail around £200 with an 18m contract. Sim free I'd expect to pay at least £500

The N95 will NOT cost 300-400 USD! Do you believe that a phone with GPS, 5 mpxl AND Wifi will be that cheap? The price will probably be like the price for N93 or slightly above. If you want to research, look in the forums of internet.

personally i like the O2 atom, it's got all the features i like and functions pretty much like a computer. and for the same price as the n95 (rumor has it that the n95 will cost around 45grand here in the Philippines.)

motorla doesn't have even a 3mpx out worlwide they best the have its a blurry 2mpx and their interface its even more sluggish, and the new nseries are not slow!thx to the new processors that card record video at 640x480 30fps

Those of you who say that the interface is very slow dont obviously have any experience of SMART PHONES.I have n70 and it's slow sometimes but i dont mind it. The specs in this phone are best that a mobile phone can offer at the moment. Motorola, samsung and LG phones are just simple circus-phones for teenagers. The only mobile phone manufacturer that can compete with nokia's high end multimedia computers is Sony ericsson

i agree that the n series is slow, (i have the n80) have you tried getting a bigger memory card? i changed mine to 1gig and opening my messages got a bit faster.

also, if you're like me and likes to put mp3's on it, try compressing them first. and extract your pix and vids regularly.

but on the whole smartphones, i like my O2 atom, it's fast and pretty much has all the features i like.

I would disagree, I currently own a nokia n93. It is ridiculosly slow and causes me a lot of touble. By the way, it may interest you to know that I am a teenager, but does that make the n93 a simple circus phone for teens. The interface which I have been using for a year is not too great in switching modes it lags quite a lot unless I empty the phones internal memory

Yeah. VERY slow on the landscape/portrait change. My HTC Wizard is a bit slow to change as well, but this is outrageous.

The N Series phones are so expensive that the slow interface should be nonexistant. They need to fix that.
